A Dutch gaming site is claiming that Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 will find a home on the Nintendo DS. EA Pacific is supervising the development of the game, which will make heavy use of the stylus. A Red Alert AND Age of Empires on the Nintendo DS? RTS fans rejoice!

It's probably going to have Orcs and Marines and Aliens so they can appeal to other RTS players. Then what they do is live in a house and you command their daily lives. You can add items to their house by using the money they get from going to work.

Command and Conquer with Covert Operations was the best.

If this get's confirmed I will almost certainly get a DS now.

We already - know- it's coming out on PC, it's just a suprise it - might - be out on DS.

I can't link you to anything but since I've been on Westwood's mailing list since the first RA (and resultantly it was converted into an EA/Generals newspost, pity me) I've had information a month or so ago to the effect that they were starting work on a third Red Alert. They may not have directly stated that "it'll be on PC" but I think it goes without saying that it will be.

Come to think of it, I also got an email regarding that new Star Wars RTS... Westwood must remember me!

Uh, what, you mean the GC real-time one right?
The DS one doesn't look 3D at any screenshots, might get the DS just for AW tho, I'm a big fan, ever since I played a ROM of the SFW(Super Famicom Wars) back in around 2000.

No - not the travesty that is the GC title, which has only its name in common with the classic series. It'll be like the others - but now with the top screen for air units and stylus control.

Advance Wars is on par with Civ as one of the greatest turn based games ever made. The DS version looks set to be the best in the series (which will make it one of the best games ever. Period )

Uh you do realize Westwood is owned by EA. So the games are still made by Westwood, just under the influence of what EA want.

I don't get why the Cube and DS Wars games are called Andvance Wars, considering the older Wars games were all named by console. Famicom Wars, Super Famicom Wars and GB Wars

God...this purchase just keeps getting better. Red Alert was great....Red Alert on DS is sexual. The multiplayer is going to be fantastic. Awesome.

Ummm lol..... you must be new to the pc games because well red alert was an old RTS game back in the day maybe released in 1998-1999 somthing like that but there porting it over to DS so you can pick up a copy of it right now but im not saying its out on DS yet its out on pc tho

Not to forget Ultimate War on the 64DD but soon just came out for the normal N64. Man that game looked cool. But it never made it outside Japan.
