****ing rockstar and their "no comment" bullshit... just ****ing say no. How hard is it? Jesus Christ. You say no for features that aren't in, and you say yes for features that aren't in but later say no to them... so why say no comment to certain things that people might get their hopes up about?

So what is there in multiplayer anyway? Just npcs that you can't really interact with other than to kill them, chase them, or be chased by them? If so, it will be proof that rockstar has learned nothing regarding the multiplayer of GTA IV.

That's why GTA IV multiplayer interest died off so quickly for me. There was very little to do. At least this has more proper game modes... but still free roam will probably be a considerable disappointment compared to what people were expecting, and what they were wanting us to expect.
 
I watched a few streams over the last couple of days i was very tempted at first. I even pre ordered the game. I changed my mind though and have decided to skip on it.

This pussy footing around the PC version annoys the shit out of me.
Game Informer has the PC version listed in their recent issue and the PC icon was shown in numerous ads at a few conventions. Yet, for some reason, they continue to deny that they are working on a PC version. I'd usually buy the console version then switch over to the PC version of the game once it got released. Not anymore though. In this financial climate, i just don't have the money to waste as i once used to.

AFAIK the PC version of GTAIV did have subway-trains in multi, except you weren't allowed to board'em.
 
Well I am totally still getting this. I still have a lot of fun with GTA IV and this looks so much better than that imho. Too bad I have an early meeting tomorrow or I would SO be getting this at midnight tonight. :frown:

I'm not even sure what his stance is. He makes such contradictory comments, like he doesn't want to upset anyone.
 
Yeah, got a 9.75 in the new Game Informer mag I just got a couple of days ago. Sounds pretty brilliant, but we knew that already, didn't we. Yes, I will be getting this soon...and likely taking a day off from work this week to immerse myself in the Old West and become the feared gun fighter I always wanted to be when watching old Clint Eastwood movies. Say, has it been mentioned that we can hang people in this game? I would love to be able to lasso, hogtie, transport, and hang people if at all possible. :thumbs:
 
I could either wait 1 hr after work to pick this up, I could wait till my game ships and make a profit by returning it to a local game retailer and buy yet another game like Lost Planet 2. I really want to play this game tonight!

Rockstar’s Dan Houser has confirmed with IGN that Red Dead Redemption’s multiplayer mode will feature Horses, Stagecoaches, and Trains.

“Charging around on horses and stagecoaches and trains, shooting each other in a multiplayer world,” said Houser. “It’s pretty epic, but it’s not finalized to talk about in any more detail than that. We’re still learning a lot as we learn how to do multiplayer games successfully.”

Just went to Gamestop and got my number, I'm number 2! So I'll be back at midnight to pick it up. Funny thing, there was no one there, the idiots usually wait until midnight and make a huge line I can just walk to the front of with my number, so that's always fun.

i think rockstar are the one game company that can actually somehow make fun, humerous bugs and probably unintentionally. swingset glitch from gta4, anyone?
