That's not Starcraft 2. That's a mod that may or may not have been shut down some time ago.
It looks to cartoony, the marines dont look as bad ass as in Dawn of war.
It looks like they dropped the fourth race idea though.
At the end of the day though, games dont NEED great graphics to be simply epic. Look at the original SC for example.
Galactic Civilizations 2 - hardly any graphics - awesome game.
Super Mario series
and the list goes on.
I still think SC2 looks cool, but thats not what im going to be worried about when we finally get our hands on it.
Absinthe said:Well, I don't know about that. I must admit that I was looking forward to a new race, but I don't want to make that some kind of rule where sequels need to have X more races, as that would get ridiculous.
The Korean press release mentioned a new race and they got everything else right. It's possible that they're waiting to unveil the new race at a future point in time.
Well a fourth race would only make sense due to the god damn storyline in brood war.
When playing a game with walking undead, goblins orcs and shaman trolls, you get miffed that a hero can take 20 arrows to the chest before dying?
By that logic you just denounced every FPS and RTS in history. Not to mention the majority of action films ever made.
Did you ever play Doom 1/2/Final? It was quite different. Doom 1/2 were mindless-ton-of-guys shooting. Doom 3 was s scary shooter where the combat was completely different in terms of your opponenets. We're all going to expect everything to be new - BUT WHY CHANGE IT? Doom 3 wasnt a new game. It was everything that was great in the previous games, just made better with a new engine.

My guess is they're shots of the Blizz team working on SC2, celebrating the announcement of the game.
EDIT: Enhanced the pics a bit to make them more clear.
