When he says, "Oh, poor choice of words!" is just so... so... perfect.

Yes... I've decided I must dress up at the premere.

I have to figure out who Im'a dress as. I have the Joker cards... with some make up/effects my brother taught me I could possibly do a good joker with his scars and all. I could also do a regular Harvey Dent, or a burned Harvey dent. Though that would be complex.

Anyways, it looks like Batman is kickin' the shit out of some SWAT? I wonder what that is about. Maybe they are protecting The Joker? Or maybe the city is going corrupt? Also curious about what's going on with all the people in the streets who are standing still and then just go nuts-

I pre-ordered IMAX tickets on July 20th to see it. Gonna be sweet! Also awesome new clips.

Going to the midnight premiere with my friend. It's gonna kick ass.

Joker: "How 'bout we chop you up into little pieces and feed ya to your pooches? Then we'll see how loyal a hungry dog is."

:D Awesome.

God, I can hardly wait for this. I'm not a "premiere" type guy, but I'm tempted for this one.

That is simply the most beautiful thing I've ever seen

You *might* get a spoiler if you have seen previous trailers and put 2 to 2 together.
I think the Joker kills the gf when he throws her off the building in the previous trailers, making Batman the dark knight. I also heard somewhere that Two Face dies.
The Joker sounds like he breaks the Batman the only way he can: the heart.

omg omg omg omg.

How did i miss that trailer?

Edit: Real shame he died. Looks like his best role ever.

As great as Heath Ledger is as the Joker, who else is really impressed with Bale's performance? He really captures the duality of the role.

Also, Eckhart seems to have done an excellent job as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.

It's hard to see how a third film would top this.

Also, yes, Bale, Ledger, and Eckhart are all awesome actors. Bale is probably my favorite. His role is great and dynamic. Suprisingly, the Joker is looking very dynamic as well, I actually sympathize/understand him a bit from what I can see.

I can't wait any longer!!
The movie must release NOW!!!

NOW!

Yeah, I agree that I really don't see how a third film could surpass this. It seems as if the story is reaching it's peak. It has the same sort of "epic conclusion" feeling that Return of the King had. Also, it's pretty hard to outdo the Joker in terms of villain-ness.

But I'm sure Nolan can make it work.

Actually I'm really looking forward to Two-Face in the third film.

I'm hoping Robin will come along in the third film, perhaps as a woman?

Please no Robin.

Bane would be awesome - not like the shitty one in Batman and Robin, but the proper Bane.

I'm curious on seeing what Mr Nolan is going to do on the third one.

Well it's obviously going to be Two-Face in the third film.

I'd quite like to see Mad Hatter as well. Or maybe Poison Ivy. I think those are my two fave villains to see after the ones we have already seen. If that makes sense.

No Robin. No Catwoman.

Well there are a lot of good characters such as Cat Woman and the devious penguin. HOPEFULLY it is the Penguin because that was the last kick-ass Batman film other than Batman Begins. Also I heard somewhere that (it's a rumor on who dies so don't click the button):
Two face dies idk though!
That 5 min preview isn't a spoiler if you saw that IMAX youtube video, because now it's just in much better quality in that link. :p Very happy that is the opening though!!!11 Also a big NAO to Robin.
*My theory on first 5 min:
The Joker just pulled off a major bank heist on Gotham City. All the buses that he merges in with are in with the Joker and raided other banks. That opens up the story.

I'm curious on seeing what Mr Nolan is going to do on the third one.

If he does a third one. He wasn't going to a do a second one until he started pondering on what he could do with the joker.

Nolan has said in previous interviews that he doesn't care much for the Penguin and is too unrealistic for his universe, so I doubt we'll be seeing him in any sequels (if hes directing)

Also, Bale's take on Robin:

“If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work."

Wtf, I disagree with Bale on that one. Penguin was pretty good and even had a Swiss Army knife umbrella. I am very intrgued by a Mad Hatter though. I never really saw the guy other than the goofy tv show with Adam West. They should make him look like this though: http://www.toymania.com/columns/spotlight/mezhatterpics1.shtml It's from an old toy set called "Scary Tales: Alice, Mad Hatter, & the White Rabbit". http://www.toymania.com/columns/spotlight/scarymez.shtml Click on the image for Alice. :p

I wouldn't mind the Riddler or Bane as a villian, but the penguin, poison ivy, and catwoman can stay out.

Penguin: no way. Penguin is my least favourite Batman villain.

As for Riddler and Bane, I can't see them carrying a story on their own. Riddler was good in "The Batman" cartoon series and a couple of the comics but has never carried anything all that well. And Bane just isn't sinister enough.

I don't see people's beef with Poison Ivy. She is the best female villain in any of the big comics in my opinion and you could get a super-attractive actress to play her. Just look at her portrayal in "The Long Halloween" for an example of how awesome she can be.

As for Mad Hatter... well, the right portrayal by the right actor could well bring him the respect he deserves. There is something fundamentally dark in such an evil yet childish figure quoting from a children's book that has so many evil undertones. Not sure what sort of origin story they'll give him though. Would his paedophilia plot line be too dark for these already dark films? Him and Ragdoll in the 4th film could work quite well actually.

Oooh. I love Batman.

How can you guys prefer the ADHD Jim Carey as "The Riddler" and Ahhhhnold as "Mr. Freeze" over Devito as "The Penguin"? I remember my family renting it and just stopped watching it after a half an hour it was so bad.

The penguin was retarded. And I in no way approve of Mr. Freeze if you think that I do. I recall enjoying the riddler.
