Come to think of it, when I heard they blended with the city and made noise when you were close, my first guess was "dumpster babies!"

You can't have dumpster babies on top of rooftops! Which is probably where a good portion of them will be :-P

To be honest, my first though, was that it was people on cell phones chatting it up... and you had to beat the person up and steal their phone. Like people in back alleys sitting down talking to somebody or up on a rooftop looking out over the city while talking.

But then I realized, wow, everybody has a cell phone in the city pretty much, that wouldn't make much sense.

But it'd be awesome.

Holy shit the bank job mission that we've seen in trailers....is F*CKING nuts! Think the movie Heat. I purposely died during it just so I could make a separate save to go back to it whenever I want.

**** bioshock and **** battlefield! (battlefield maybe not as much considering it covers a full series but bioshock is just one game and quite overrated at that IMO)

From the videos i've seen it looks like there's a sweet chase cam that gives you some boss camera angels when running from the po po.
 
How does the TOD work in this installment? Is the sun dynamic light?

That whole "Saturday and Sunday moves fast" thing is bullshit for me, I gotta work all weekend, and next week....

Plus the house is being painted next week so I'll have to sneak in GTA4 games while the painters are not in my room...

But all I'll care is that I have it
 
You guys and your moaning about waiting two days.. I have to wait the whole damn summer before I can buy a console. ;( The story will most likely be 100% spoiled on the net by then, and it'll be nearly impossible to avoid it.
 
OMG WTF.

I have a job induction all of Wednesday evening. I will be distracted for two reasons:

a) I'll want to get back to GTA4.
b) I'll have been up all night the night before playing GTA4.


Regardless, I'm excited. Something a lot of people seem to have let pale into the background is the music. It is one of the things I really can't wait for.

EDIT: Found a program that converts the radio stations from Vice City into mp3 format. I know what I am listening to on my morning commute from now on. :E

Cliche New York moustache cop ftw.

My week is going to ram-packed as it is without finding the hours to soak in GTA. I have to spend tomorrow finding supplies for my art exam, all of monday doing some very important manufacturing work to my design project, tuesday is my first 5 hours of my exam, which I'll also be using as a day for my friend to go to town and pick up the game for me. That night I have to do folder/essay work, and the same goes for every other night until Friday, and to add to that, I have the 10 hours final art time on wed and thurs.

I'm such a dolt for leaving my work this late, haha. I am BEGGING for an extra week deadline on my Product Design course.

Just insert your disc, have it play in the 360's music player, and then select "Rip Songs".

Then, you can listen to them in-game by pushing the Xbox Guide button, and then going down to "Play Music" or something. It mutes the in-game music, replacing it with yours. Pretty cool, really.

Doesn't it mute the entire game? I can't remember for the life of me. I hope not, but I haven't done it in a long, long time.
