The Ten Commandments

Plenty of Christians have killed the innocent because they thought it was gods will. How about the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition? I know a number of muslims and they tend to be good, peacefull people.
Im talking about those people that bomb innocent civilians with the muslims. They probably believe it is right. But that represents only a fraction of the normal muslim population that follow the laws of peace and justice. As for the inquisition, that was rediculous. and remember the indulgances that they handed out like candy. Those times make me wonder how christianity ever recovered.

lol, nice sig. I need to change mine. It was the trout slapper but I guess the website got canned.

Your previous statement sounded generalistic but it does sound like you have a well balanced perspective. :)

Does that mean you're suicidal?

Nobody has the authority to say who is worthless. Almost everybody has value to themselves.

I'm taking the authority to deem it. Its like retards...completely useless, why do we even keep them alive? What are they gonna do besides suck up air and gobble down food? Wheres the scientific breakthrough from them?

Christ man, talk about heartless. That was by far the most disgusting thing I've read in this thread, or on these forums, in a long time.

Who are you to place a value on the life of another? Everyone should be left alone to live in peace, unless they bring harm to others.

Just stating my views...
How bout they have their peace and happiness in the blackness of death, afterall, as you said they want to be left alone doing nothing. Death is peaceful. Whats the point of living if all you want is this peace and happiness?

Yeah. I've thought that thought. It's rather a sick thought to think....

Selective breeding, that's where it's at... Let's quit letting people make their own choices about kids, I say...

Unfortanate, yes. But i find it to be the harsh truth.

If someone decides to end their own life that's their business. However killing humans because you think they are worthless is just heartless.

Is my point of view not logical?

Most humans you will find to be evil too, like they crush spiders and what not.

Now, I'm not talking about sniping every person on the planet with a splatter of brain juice across some pavement. I'm talking about scientific installations on remote planets; people researching the properties of the universe; people serving a purpose while doing something they enjoy. Not sitting on a deck chewing on a piece of grass all day spreading their religious propaganda.

Is it logical? No, actually it is not.

Aside from any emotional issues, the danger from that kind of thinking is that you make the assumption that there is a specific line at which a human being no longer has the right to live. Since any such line is purely subjective and based on opinion it cannot be the basis of a logical argument.

I find such a train of thought quite disgusting as well, but aside from that you can't try to justify it with logic either.

Oh and I don't kill spiders.

Neutrino is right. That really ends the conversation on this topic for me.

I also don't crush spiders.

So I'm assuming that you must spend all your time trying to better the system and save the planet. Good for you.

What "right to live"? There arent any 'rights'. My opinion steps in when i think about the poor spiders being flattened and the evilness of doing so. But when you think about it, you realize that a spider dying is part of the "beauty of life", if you will, as are the bugs that get caught in their web.

Death can make way for newer, better life...part of evolution.

Nah, i spend my time browsing around an eventually useless game forum spreading my own propaganda in "Off-Topic Chat".

Think of it like in my sig...just mindlessly dragging around chains in the middle of the night down a quiet neighborhood street...wailing jibberish.
