I think the ones we had before were really good, because the thing is that, if you are asking someone a serious question and he has 10 posts and is a head crab, you cant trust him, but if it was a guy who had 6000 posts and were a combine super ninja ice cream eater, you could defenently trust him. And he would be nice to you

User specified titles do work- they're just a bugger to moderate, in the sense that you have to restrict what can be displayed to put a stop to wannabe Admins.

Not to mention that for them to maintain their "special" spark, you'd have to introduce the option at a stupidly high post count (i.e., Strider > Custom) meaning you'd still have to think of some new user-titles.

I do remember the "only gay in the village" incident, mind. To begin with I thought that was some user title related hallucination of mine.

...it wasn't, was it?

People complained- AND LOOK WHAT HAPPENED. I hope you're happy now! Look what happens when you deride someone else's hard work!

Personally I quite liked the old system- and I can't say I care too much whether the old one returns or a new one takes its place.

And to give that question a very belated answer Sprafa: yes, I'm THE Edcrab. In fact, that's worthy of my signature. EGO!

Munro is just.... dunno. Try not to think about it. About a year ago he told us we'd have a new forum skin that we only got about 30 days ago.... so yeah... wait...
