See, Ridge, you went about this entirely the wrong way. You could've posted a constructive thread expressing your opinion about the recent election. I say say we dismantle both the Democratic and Republican parties and start a new single party with me as it's administrator. :O

On a serious note, America is far too divided and culturally diverse for just 2 parties imo. We need at least 2 more competent parties. The "conservative Democratic" party and the "liberal Republican" party. This way people don't vote republican just because the democrats are too morally bankrupt, or people who vote democrat just because republicans are a bunch of greedy, religious crazies. People need to vote for the right reason and America is too big a melting pot nation for just 2 parties with such narrow viewpoints.
