Everyone who voted for the US lives in the UK and is jealous and ignorant.

I was shocked when I heared today on the news, that women in Saudi Arabia have no rigth to vote. How could it be, such unjustice?!

In contrary to this, women in Iran do have vote rigths. About 64 percent of all students in universities there are women.

Everyone who voted for the US lives in the UK and is jealous and ignorant.

I'm sure not everyone who voted for them is from the UK. Just as sure as I am that not everyone from the UK voted the USA.

And why should jealousy or ignorance come into it? For 33% of the pollers here? Seems a bit nieve to say the least, you have overlooked a lot of underlying issues at hand, such as opinions on USA foreign policy, or unilateralism, not to mention a ton of other things. Jealousy just doesn't come into it really unless you are a 12 year old adolescent, but even then I think most 12 year olds would be able to point at these issues.

I think comments like you have just made encourage more people to vote USA on polls like this.

I also notice how you've changed your location from
USA (the best country in the world)

If you was you wouldn't be spewing the republican bullshit out your mouth now would you?

Ha...me, a republican?

And I am God. Did you check my source? 100% undebateable. I am God. Feel free to worship me now.

Hey where is the UK, Its run by the big Chimpanzee, they are always evil

I'd say the US is more misguided in most cases than evil. They don't execute their citizens who oppose them. None of that crap the really evil countries do.

"Rape the Farms and Pillage the women!"

I'm amazed that France has so many supporters (I only chose France because I felt like it)

I cant understand americans who voted for France. If it wasn't for France, you would probably have been a british colony up till the 20th century.

yeah, and the french drew nazi signs over our WWII heroes graves, after the invasion of Iraq. Thats just disrespectful to brits and americans

drew Nazi signs over the people that saved them.

As I will discuss below, the largest benefactors from the Oil-For-Food -- other than Saddam Hussein and his cronies -- were Russia, France and a host of other players. This explains why France and Russia were so opposed to the war in Iraq. We can only hope that all the facts are revealed in the weeks and months just ahead, and that the UN and the other major players are properly discredited! And we will hopefully learn, finally, if Saddam used his Oil-For-Food billions to fund terrorists.

Finishing strong in second place behind the Russians in the Oil-For-Food scandal is none other than our long-time "ally" FRANCE! In documents released earlier this year, France's oil vouchers account for 150.8 million barrels of crude and notable recipients include French Interior Minister Charles Pasqua, Patrick Maughien, who is a close friend of Jacques Chirac and head of Soco International oil company, and former French Ambassador to the UN, Jean-Bernard Merimee. This clearly played heavily into France's opposition to the War.

Hardly. Although the French did offer support they didn't show up until almost the end of the war.

I have nothing with you people disagreeing with our policies; I do. However, when you pull stuff out like that it pisses me off as I do love this country. If it weren't for the US the French would still be in Nazi occupation; what the hell is the point of saying that?

The decolonizations progress started first in the 50s. The colonies had had some freedoms, yes, but they weren't totally free. If I remember correctly, the US was the only colony to brake out before that, but I minght be wrong

It doesn't matter, I don't want to have a discussion on that. All I am saying is this "my country has a bigger penis" claims are pointless and make me angry. We are all proud of our country, doesn't matter if you live in the US, in Canda, France, Poland, whatever. You can disagree with the policies which is fine, but going back 200 years and saying we should be thankful to some country is ridiculous. This is the same idiotic think the conservatives in this country used against France (WWII) when they didn't want to support Iraq and it made me sick. When other countries do that to us it makes me just as equally sick.

I think you're confusing it with incidents of french neo-nazis desecrating mulsim graves, not british or american graves ..unless that is, you have a source to back you up ..here's mine

btw the french media was in a frenzy after those graves were desecrated ..the french public were outraged

Of course you should be proud over your country, I have never denided that you have done a great deal of good, not to mention WWII. I wish that people in Sweden would be as proud over their country as you are over yours.

Sure are.
So did you compare the number of people killed by North Korea and by America?

Or do you want to continue enjoying the thought that your government would never do anything remotely immoral?

Okay, and if it wasn't for us and the British, France might be under the control of a still Nazi-run Germany right now. I think we're even.

More likely under soviet control. Anywho, France and the US has so much incommon, that I can't understand people who voted for France, just as little as I can understand people who voted for the US.

i doubt any media source can know what the correct information is, they swap the words around to their benefits, to what suits thier beliefs.

so when you say wrong information, do you mean "dont say lies, say the truth".
"whatever the media says is the truth 100% real" .

btw, what did that french article say, it cudda written anything...

True it should have gone to:

Iran
NK
Syria

It is all in politics. Conservatives in this country hate France becuase of the single reason of them not supporting the war. Liberals in this country have no problems with France. What I simply don't like is people voting for the US as an example; it just shows more politics in play. Just because you disagree with Bush doesn't mean you have to classify the entire American population as arrogant or worse. You would be amazed to find that most Americans don't actually hate other countries while it seems other countries really hate us. Sure, we might say things like "Blame Canada" in good humor but I don't recall any American before the war calling Canadians stupid or arrogant (until conservatives went on a parade to destroy the image of an country that disagrees with us) while I hear people from Canada calling Americans arrogant on a regular basis. I'm sure this is a minority in your country and most of you don't really think that; but the way your media spins this makes it seem otherwise (our media does the exact same thing, turn on fox one day).

Yeah...we're both a bunch of snooty bastards whose southern areas are full of friendly people.

+1

It isn't meant in disrespect but maybe he should be on the side lines for a while instead of posting about the media in every thread.

NK, Iran, Syria, Libya, and Pre-Invasion Iraq are the only reasonable canidates on the list. I think everyone knows that.

I suppose you know why france didnt support the war in iraq. Read post #173. :p

and for the rest of your statement, yes i agree, the media spins things. heck! all the time. im sure just because a little minority of french people hate the british, doesnt mean the whole of France, hates us. but people take it to offence, and stereotype.

another word i hate "stereotype". its like racism, some people look at an arab, and think "Terrorist". thats stereotyping.

ok cpt, nolimit.
ill go. but ill leave one message. can you prove me wrong?
or you jus pissed at me cos my answer overules all your "sources". :p

Yeah, I got Fox, so I know what you're talking about.

But our media is not like that at all. Most channels have not said if they're for or against the war, but sure had an opinion about 9/11. But I guess there's a lot of US-hatred even without the media. Almost everybody is against the war, but that is probably caused by common oponion (US as world police etc), rather than by media.

Maybe there is a small cave or something? I really don't know how he plans on accomplishing it.

Well...as long as he doesn't get it pregnant. We don't want too many of those runnin' around.
