It's a DSA STG58 Para FAL w/ 16" barrel. The bigger 30rd mag isn't a FAL mag it's a modified Bren Machine gun mag that DSA sells. It's pretty nice. I haven't cleaned it so it still has some of the factory grease on it.

Damnit I wish I could edit my title. My grammar isn't always the best.

Oh a beaut! My friend just got his concealed carry license and 1911 so I've been looking a lot at handguns lately so seeing this is a nice change :)

Should make a video out at the range sometime.

You can edit the title for a short period of time. By clicking beside the link on it out in the main thread directory.

It's a beauty, I wish I could see it in action

What do you need a machine gun for? Really? Guns heh.

It's not a machine gun, it's not gonna be anything more than a semi automatic rifle (i presume)

B/C it makes my pee-pee tingle.

It isn't a MG though that would do much more than make me tingle. I'd need a kleenex for that.

j/k.... well kinda..

You're dry, clever humor offends me greatly sir.

But not as much as those damn redcoats over in English land.

Why, without guns the King of England could walk in here at any moment and start pushing us around. You wouldnt want that would you?

It actually happens all the time.. they're called the "police".

It would certainly be good for shooting kids who come on your lawn. Maybe you can go take over your town and claim it as your own country for 3 minutes before the swat team guns you down. At least you could say you were the first to take over some American territory.

"Most likely to Secede" is a fun one to wear in southern Alabama

My friend has a shirt that has that on the front.

you realize that you can just walk out your door with that thing and really make ANYONE do ANYTHING for you, and kill many many people just like that, by just walking out your door pulling the trigger.

It sickenss me how this can be allowed, im not trying to start an argument, but the whole world is laughing at this stupid "second amendamenadeta" whateva

I understood it

it's something that I've often noticed in americans (even my floridian cousin thought this way) ...to the rest of the world what you consider to be normal we think is appallingly shocking ..surrounding yourself with instruments of death isnt that well received around the world ...except in the US....just look at this thread , almost every positive response is from an american ..(well there's a brit wanna be uber soldier in there as well, but his grip on reality is tenuous at best)

Actually, I didn't understand what he typed, it confused me :p.

Weapons have been around for quite a while. You don't need a gun to kill someone. You could very well kill someone with your bare hands.

A gun doesn't pull its own trigger.

yes but that's not my point ..gun culture is celebrated in the US, which is unique around the world

I don't know about..."celebrated." Maybe in the South, but up here, its quite normal.

Um! Guns are bad lolz!

I'd have to disagree, though, Stern, collecting instruments of death is common in most places. Not only Americans collect guns, and plenty of people collect swords and daggers and stuff like that.

Personally, I have a small sword collection and a collection of replica firearms. At some point I would love to buy a (deactivated) Luger. Yeaaaah.

But real firearms scare the f*cking shit out of me. :(

There are other countries that have "gun culture" as well.

But at the same time, there aren't any threads cropping up showing off the glory of, say, Finland's NRA.

Americans really just like the guns more than most, and the whole celebration aspect is way more overt than anywhere else.
After twenty years in canada, I have never seen a canadian civilian proudly showing off any sort of gun, be it in the medias or in person.

Well, the USA was born by guns. Guns gave them their freedom. Here in Canada, we simply asked.
