Didnt the stories of jesus not appear intil 20-40 years after his death? If so, then it doesnt take a genius to figure out that most of the stories are just that...stories.

Guess I could consider myself Methodist since I regularly attend a Methodist church.

Haven't been baptized anywhere yet but I still consider myself a Christian. Basically I'm under the philosphy that if I'm wrong about there being a God and Jesus, then I've got nothing to lose... but if I were atheist and I was wrong... I 'd lose everything.
