You do realise that only things that can be seen directly are actually rendered dont you? Using that method would require a rewrite of pretty much every graphics card driver ever, thats the way they improve frame rates, they reduce the amount that is actually drawn.
Really, its a stupid idea...
The way ragdolls work wouldnt allow that, once an object is a ragdoll, it stays a ragdoll. Maybe when the technology matures a little (it already has with new havoc versions) it will allow more flexibility, but what hl2 is built on is fairly basic, thats why they cant have flailing and stuff...
Try dipping rockets into water over and over again, each time they go in and come back out theyr move slower, ive had them move slower than i could walk....
Ooh, ooh, the sky is blue....oh and grass is green....and and, the wind blows
Really, you're stating the obvious, anyone who does any physics will come across the lambda sybol at one point
i played killzone (its sitting beside me) and really, i wasn't impressed, its dark and muddy and rather clunky. Its like they used the goldeneye engine then made it dark, really it isnt that impressive. The console itself is a relic, i mean half-lfe 1 is about all it could handle, its direct x 7...
Look here, the ending was fine, and yes the ending of the first was similar. I dont get where u lot come from with the ending sucks thing, what exactly do you want for a non sucking ending?
Maybe gordon freeman saves the world, you see a big party, he marries alyx and gets laid, the combine...
I got bored of Halo 2 quite early, like right at the end of the first covenant missions and from what i heard its very short anyway. To me it just felt like the first one all over again, just mindlessly killing the same creatures over and over again as fast as possible so ya dont die, no real...
The MX range of cards are basically souped up geforce 2's, they lack shader pipelines and hence cannot utilise any of the shader features of direct x 8 or 9. You're stuck until you get a decent card.
Im about as much a RE fan as a HL fan and to me, HL2 is far more truer to its routes than re4.
RE is about zombies not "crazed villagers", its like turning the combine in HL into pink dinosaurs or something. As refreshing as 4 looks, its still a let down, yes, its interactivity is nice but...
And there was Olograph thinkin that hl2 would be just like the matrix, just plug in and away ya go for the rest of your life.
Really, hl2 is a fairly long game FPS wise and the sheer amount of detail in all of the levels isn't something that can be knocked up in one evening. I dont get what...
