imo nintendo games are made by kids for kids. their general market audience is ages from 7 - 13. this is 2005, i dont want the simple disposable games from yesteryear. 2d , or metalic sounds, I want graphics, power , and fun games.

not worth it is it really worth the trouble? hds are so cheap these dys - especially when u can get a 50$ one with 40gigs, a 10 gig is almost useless. 1 dual layer dvd can hold almost 10 gigs

Its not the game , its your pc. Load times and lag afterwards - non existent here. It just says loading sometimes and almost no wait not even 3 seconds. You may need more ram. newegg.com or tigerdirect.com have good prices on ram

sheesh keyboards are only what 15$ bucks? Though it is worth a try if u got wireless but you could let it dry and return it to the store if under warranty ( "My keyboard stopped working" ). magic words, just be sure its dry

Actually i believe thats the same dvd burner i got form newegg.com 3 weeks ago. Works great , burned almost 30 rentals so far and its quiet and fast. But!! like i said if shes gonna be burning movies please dont leave her with that processor.

when gaming 1 gig ram is not overkill. as stated by another poster its best to stick with 1 gig , not 1 gig and 512. Going from 512 to 1 gig produces smoother graphics and helps performance by sorta freeing up the stress on the processor. also going from 512 to 1 gig will porduce faster load...

newegg has the amd xp 2600+ for 90$ , I highly recommend just paying 47 more $ . Especially since you are getting her a dvd burner. When burning , a faster processor is quite helpful. Also for just 47 shed be getting a huge increase in speed. good luck
