I'm running hl2 awesome on high with a: Radion 9600 (normal, not pro, not xt etc. ) Asus motherboard (not sure which..) 1.4 ghz Athlon prossesor. No problem at all. Runs perfect, looks amazing.

My HL2 Substance doesent work. After loading screen, when bar reaches the end, it makes a 'ping' and up comes an error massage saying stuff like: ' '34x48uyn84' blah blah 'dd6xhuhjh' blah blah blah blah'

Half-Life 2 has more freedom than halo 2. if or when they release it on computer, it wouldn't have a console. even doom 3 has a console. That give you a little more freedom.

This happened on home PC, sometime, usually it means your computer cant handle the game, of files are corrupt.

If there arn't any of the following folders, create them.

You copy the file v_famas etc. in the following: go into cs folder, go into 'models', then 'weapons', then 'famas". replace the existing files.

I have HL2 and Doom 3, and have friend with Halo 2. seems pretty crap to me...

HL2 is more fun. you get sick of doom 3, and you need a better PC to run it.
