Keep dreaming, Even with 1 000 000 Signatures, Valve won't release a demo before the game hit the shelves. Even if you ask George W. Bush to order Gabe to release a demo or he'll drop a bomb on the Valve HQ, Gabe won't release it.

Yeah the Doom III engine is quite incredible. But the problem is you can only see no more than 4-5 players at the same time on the screen (From Carkmack himselft). that's why people don't take Doom III over Hl2. Half-Life is known to be an easy modable game. HL-2 Is going to be even more...

Gabe said the game will fully support 5.1 and EAX For EAX I think Half-life1 support it... Not quite sure but I think you have an option for it. Look at the "Info From Valve Only" thread. The reply from Gabe is inside... And I heard Doom III Will be the first game to fully support 6.1.

I have this problem too.. I'm using standard DSL 1.3mpbs with a D-Link Ethernet Card. No I don't have a router, no I'm not connected to another PC.
