have to say that these new ipods look the dogs bollocks. Need to see what the video playback is like when they come out in teh uk. should be pretty cool though I would image. the black ones look great but i would fear that scratches would show up more on the black ones compared to the white ones
If you are willing to take the risk, then go for ebay, but you are taking a risk with hardware. I would just save and buy new, then you get a warrenty, and you know it works and if it don't when it arrives, then you can get a replacement shipped out to you. Upto you though.
Yeh should do, are you building it yourself or are you getting someone to do it for you? Not sure if you mentioned it and I don't want to scan through 15 pages of posts to find out :P If you are building it yourself, then I would keep up posted so we can give you advice on building it :D
check for dust build up around the fan on the graphics card, also make sure the fan is spinning as it should be. Could check that there are no wires obstructing the airflow of any other system fans that are starving the card of cool air. Not sure if your problem is heat related, but its worth a...
I'm the same, just got a 19" TFT and its great. No ghosting or blurring in movies or games (fast pased ones too like ut2k4 and need for speed underground) and the image quality is excellent. So damn sharp, and goign back to teh older pc with a crt is pretty weird because its so blurry compared...
Have you tried this:
double circumference;
circumference = Circum(radius);
That way you would make use of your method, but if you arent going to use it then I would just delete the method as you don't really need it.
Just been checking out x800GT reviews and its cheaper and outperforms the 6600gt in some tests. You can find a review here: http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=1485&page=1&search=x800%20gt
Looks pretty good performance for the price.
The 6600GT will be totally fine for CS:S and HL2 at that resolution. In doom 3 you might need to turn down some of the visual settings to get it to run smoothly, but it will certainly run it, and although your cpu is dual core and I don't think games make use of the 2nd core, it is still fast...
Don't you mean a network card that will allow you to connect your pc to a router/adsl modem via a 10/100mbit connection? Never heard of a 'broadband card'
My card came with ram heatsinks and also a heatsink on the underside of the card and I have a fan that blows air directly over them, aswell as the arctic cooler vga heatsink with the slow spinning fan, my card is nice and cool even overclocked.
I don't trust ebay at all, never bought anything from it and I don't plan on doing so in teh future. Too much risk involved imo. And I would never buy hardware from there, always buy new, you don't know what condition it will be in when it arrives, no matter what the sale description said.
If you are leaving it in one place and battery life doesnt matter, then go for a Athlon 64 cpu based laptop. If you need it to be good on battery life the go for a Pentium M based laptop. I think, but am not totally sure about this, that the 6800ultra mobile gfx is the best out for laptops at...
I got an older version of this on my 9800pro, and its silent and pretty damn efficient. Here is the link, totally recommend this: http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vga2.php?idx=11&data=1&disc=
Pretty easy to fit, just take your time etc. The zalmans are also pretty good!
EDIT: You do need to...

Heh I remember sending that, at that point...
could you somehow damage your printer if you try and use the paper that it doesn't support, or will it just make a mess since the ink won't stay put on the paper? if it won't damage it then you could always give it a try
