just a quick question.. ... besides "flattening" the image, what’s a good way to make the file size smaller? I know JPGs are small too.. any other tricks or tips on reducing the file size without sacrificing quality? kthx :)

Well, to be honest I like to have a sensitive mouse. And as you know, the mouse is much more sensitive at high refresh rates. I used to run 1280x1024 @ 120Hz, then after I installed my monitor drivers via windows update it only went up to 85Hz. Oh well, better safe than sorry.
