I really didnt like Halo (for PC's [never played it on xBox]) driving controls. I liked BF1942's controls a lot better. Easier to steer, and allows you to look around the area.

Didnt SOFII have a "Random Mission Generator"? It would make random levels based on a seed, and then populate that terrain with prefab objects and then have generic mission objectives. So its not impossible at all. Im willing to bet someone could mod that into HL2. Would have to be done server...

I run FarCry on a 2.4GHz 800MHz FSB with A Radeon 9800Pro at 1280x1024 at around 40 FPS. It slows down a lot if there is a lot of stuff happening. But other than that 30-40FPS is entirely playable and it looks sexy.
