Giant Pinball?? I don't ever remember seeing that in the tech demo.. I do remember the Plinko like barrel effect though, which is nothing like a pinball. And pay for a tech demo? shesh.. Morons

I am going to have to agree with HL2 Stone.. moron. This is just another useless thread that should be immediately deleted as the vids are old footage of an early build of the game.

Homeworld 2 demo -> pretty much the same as Homeworld 1 and it was kinda dull after an hour or so. Chrome demo -> Ok for a bit , but got boring fast and the Ai is pretty stupid Call of Duty demo -> Cool looking game, but pretty much the same as MOHAA in many ways... Ai is pretty stupid...

The probable reason no MP has been announced yet is because it doesn't exist in any other form other then plain DM. This is the 2 sku's that will be released at the end of the month, SP only and SP w/ DM.. expect to see the full version of HL2 with the more anticipated mods to be delayed til TF...

There is no poll on whether to pay or not to pay.. topics on it yes, poll no.. These forums are cluttered with topics that are irrelevant, and searching topics to see who would and wouldn't takes alot longer then just answering a poll for everyone to see at the top in a graph.

If Valve decided to charge monthly for you to be able to play it's mods online will you pay? I will pay monthy only if they include new content to justify the monthly fee...

According to Gabe, even Valve doesn't know what's going on... It appears that Sept 30th is about to be a day of reckoning more then a release date for a much anticipated game. If the game ships on said date then my guess would be that it will be the single player only version.

The only way I would pay 10 bucks a month for a game like this is if the Multiplayer aspect was awesome and they released a few new levels every month to paid subscibers and those who bought retail would have to wait for an expansion pack to play them. But to pay 15 bucks a month (I am Canadian)...
