I disagree. I contend that Valve does owe us. We bought their games. We bought Half Life, Counter Strike, Left 4 Dead, Portal and all of their other great games. We buy games on Steam. We make mods for their games, which, in turn, promotes their games. We fund their all of their projects with...
I've used Onlive and it works. The games run smoothly and they look crisp. Obviously, there are some concessions. Games don't look or run at a frame rate as good as they would on a good PC, and the lag is noticeable, but it's getting better. Being able to play Assassin's Creed 2 on my HP netbook...
This is why I love Valve. This game was released 6 years ago, back in 2004. Now, in 2010, it's received the biggest update in the history of the game and is still one of the most played PC games there is. And it's free.
THIS is developer support. Not Infinity Ward and Activision reselling old...
Yeah, except there are a few accusations of stealing art. Here are two cases of stolen content chosen as a winner:

This image is actually this artist person's work who mentions the thievery here.
Because Valve is a business and an L4D sequel would make more money than another HL2 episode ever would. They have no obligation to make us happy. While it's nice that they are such an ethical game company, it's their job to make money, not to make us happy.
I'm probably one of the 4 people genuinely excited/happy about this update. Whenever water is shot, the ripple effect/the particles of water that are sent up into the air lag the hell out of my computer for a second of two. I can't tell you how many times I've died because of that.
With Steam, TF2, L4D and various engine updates that they have to keep up with, I doubt we'll be seeing Episode 3 for a while.
I wouldn't expect anything but more cryptic information by the end of the year.
It was cancelled earlier this year.

Shame, too. The game that was cancelled with it called Eight Days looked absolutely brilliant.

Shotgun. The uzi goes through ammo too fast. The shotgun also puts those bastards down fast if your aim is decent. The worst thing about the shotgun is the reloading, though. It takes forever, and it's a real downside to it when you have to keep whacking them when reloading or when you're...
MSN as in you can IM people from your email page? Gmail has the same thing but with AIM, and there is probably a way to get other clients to work with Google Talk.
