Actually the toothpaste technique can and does work, as it's an abrasive and can smooth out scratches causing misreads. However this will only work well on light scratches, and not were the data has actually been damaged (IE the other side of the DVD is scratched).

PES has been on a downward spiral for years, cruise around the PES fan sites and you see a lot of unhappy fans. Sure you get the PES diehard it's the best game ever and real football is like this etc etc, but it's not really true. One of the most annoying things with PES is a lot that was broken...

Games have gotten easier, we've also gotten better. No FPS can match Doom 2 on Nightmare. It's not even remotely fair... :)

I actually found it was a very run of the mill monster movie. Plots dumb, nothing unique apart from the camera style, and the shakey is overdone, with the clever angles very limited.

First one was great, second one was so bad...

As to why things are classic, it's usually a combination of class and timing. A really good book/game/film coming out at the right time becomes timeless.

Yeah, and to flip it around, you can sell time (that you bought with real money) for ISK. And I also think it's a great idea, stuff like this happens in every MMO, it's like a black market. Accepting the fact that it happens and adding a level of control/protection makes it better for all...

I do a shedload of climbing to stay in shape. It's a good system cause your muscle mass doesn't really increase but your tone does get better. I also swim.

Double post but.. Yeah it does take real time, and it can take a lot of time (We're talking nearly a month for some level 5 skills). Eve is set up in a way that if you want a break you can set up a long skill, let it run and if you choose to come back your character has improved. I does...
