I'm not prmoting the use of pirated versions of HL ep1 here, but my friend got a torrent of the game and in it all the sound files are availiable as .wmas if anyone is interested in listening to these clips, even the ones that got cut.

Ceiling turrets aren't new. That room with the lasers in HL2 triggered a shitload of them to pop out if you tripped one. Also, when do we get to fight fast zombie torsos? I don't remember seeing that, and since you never really get to hit one with a sawblade... Maybe thats cause i skipped...

if you open the console you can go to "map ep1_background_x" I did this accidentaly and it was just the background, wiht no text, and you can't move around If this works for you and wasn't just an error on my comp than can you please upload the pics so i can use them as well

I was going through the sound files for barney and i found a couple that have barny saying things like "look out for that soldier, he's got a rocket launcher," etc. Is this left out audio or did i miss some part where you get pinned down by a combine soldier with the rocket launcher? Also...

The gunship only did the flyby about 5 minutes before you got your hands on the rpg. And when did the fast headcrabs make an appearance? i have no recollection of fighting any?

is it just me, or does it feel like that some of the enemies you have to fight in Ep 1 just feel like random cameos thrown in just so it can be in the game? For example, the last part, when your escorting the citizens, and you come out of the train, you get attacked by metrocops, even though...

it would be stupid to have Barny decked out in full Black Mesa attire, but it would be cool to see him in like a combination of his black mesa uniform with the CP vest. Or maybe Gordon goes to a resistance base where Barney has a room/locker and you can see his uniform hanging in it
