Duke Nukem Forever trailer released tomorrow...

The site is under HEAVY traffic atm, as you could imagine.

Sigh... they said VERY clearly that this was going to be nothing more than a short teaser, and that the trailer is coming at some point.
 
well, that was kind of fun..

Now I'm hyped for the actual trailer :bounce:
 
I hope the gameplay and plot will be good enough to make up for slightly dated graphics.

That has to be one of the worst one liners ever, at the end of the trailer.
 
I liked that line. His delivery was pretty crap though.

As a teaser it works pretty well. I like the cheezy one-liner, it's Duke.
 
I like it, it makes me want more and thats what a teaser is suppose to do.

Watching those old trailers i dont know why we dont have DNF3 by now. Trailer 1 looks like a finished game. Trailer 2 looks like the sequal and finished game.

They should make a book like Valve about the game history and progress. I would so buy it.

The trailer looks poorly done and the quick cuts don't help it either.

I guess you fail to grasp the meaning of a "teaser". Look at the Dark Knight teaser... no movie footage at all with some dialogue. Hell, most game teasers rarely have any actual footage from the game. I was only expecting this to be about 30 seconds long.
 
First thing I'd say is it's about time 3D Realms got a new logo animation..that one looks ancient, as for the teaser..meh I'd of liked more shots ..and I'm not putting that voice with that look for Duke either. However it's a start, so who knows what's next, plus all the big FPS games are out the door now, so if they ship it sometime next year they will probably do quite well sales wise (assuming it's not a turd).
 
I agree with his voice not working anymore. I don't know.. it just doesn't fit.
 
I'm not sure if the voice matches the look. But the voice by itself is fine. It's Duke.

Consider myself teased. I'm getting amped all over again.

Why should the CGI guys be fired? The teaser was made for their chirstmas party and then they decided to release it.

Man, that teaser was retarded, although the stills look pretty good.
 
Not much gameplay footage :( . I jsut want it to be like the old times, blasting things and one liners.
 
If that's the voice of Duke now, the game will be a laughing stock. What happened to the Clint Eastwood / Roddy Piper sound-a-like?

His voice belongs to some freckly highschool punk with gums bigger than his teeth and arms like flabby hams who likes to steal lunch money from the little kids.

It`s the same voice he always had.
 
looks like doom3 with amped up graphics and waht not. I think the only thing thats gonna save this are the loyal Duke fans.. like me :)

It might be the original voice..but it doesn't suit the look of Duke here. A guy who puffs away on smokes like that is going to have a really raspy voice.
