Lost Season 4

I'm pretty sure that the eye in the cabin was Locke's...I think thats where he went between when we last saw him and meeting Hurley.

Couldn't be cause the eye guy seem to have a good head of hair and his eye color is black/dark brown... while Locks is blue.

So, now we know that
daddy sheppard is the one in the chair. I figured it was Locke's eye in the cabin, but I guess I could be wrong. Good episode, though.

So in regards to the "Oceanic Six", I'd go with:

1. Jack
2. Kate
3. Sawyer
4. Hurley
5. Claire
6. Claire's baby (forget the name, Aaron was it?)

That's just my guess of who makes it off, and of course Jack, Kate, and Hurley are definates. We also know that they do something, because Jack is "checking up" on Hurley at the institution about "not telling anyone". Also, it seems that Jack's group turns out to be the correct one to go with judging by Hurley's statement, even though Locke's seems to be the logical choice.

Confirmed Dead - 7/10

Decent episode. The pacing suffers a bit from being the intro/setup episode for the new characters... but it had enough wtf moments.

My guess is that the rescue team is really the Dharma initiative, coming to reclaim the Island.

Each team member had experience on the Islands various supernatural aspects( Spiritual, biological, physical). They want to see whether the Island still has potential, so they could start operations again...plus they want to capture the traitor Ben.

Confirmed Dead: 8/10

A very good, well-written Episode. The new people are really very interesting, and I enjoyed their flashbacks. <3 Charlotte and Abbadon; very creepy characters.

I came into this thread knowing that I hadn't seen past the halfway point of Season 1 and wondering what ridiculous contortions the plot had gone through; I was not disappointed. There's no way in hell any of these spoilers, which I have read freely, can mean anything to me. :D

Ever since the writers mentioned that there were going to be more time-travel aspects, I've been paying extra attention to any mention of dates within the episodes. And one little thing caught my eye... ear, rather.

when the news reader was describing the discovery of the wreckage she said it

crashed on "September 22nd, 2004"... notice the use of 2004. Now how many months have passed since the plane crashed? I remember it as 80 something days.A double digit number in any case... I think it was mentioned in a later episode of season 3.
So it should still be 2004. Now if it IS 2004, would the date be described as "September 22nd, 2004"? Normally it would have been "September 22nd, THIS YEAR"... See where I'm going with this? Is it not 2004 in the outside world?

Or it's just been slightly longer than 80 days. If they're just up around the 100 mark then it's a new year.

Awesome episode, even better than "The Beginning of the End", I really like that new storyline twist, new characters and I love Daniel Faraday.

They want Benjamin! :O

Lame episode. The characters are too stupid to ask questions.

Why do you want Ben? Who is Ben? Who the **** are you people? Government or what?

I just started watching this. Was never into TV Shows always though they were low budget and corny.. Boy was i wrong.

Dexter seasons 1 and 2 AMAZING!

Im up to Episode 7 Season 2. Some episodes are kind of boring and pointless, but for the most part its very good.

are you retarded? they only find out about why the "rescue" team is really there at the END of the episode... :rolling:

anyways, i really enjoyed EP2
much more than the premiere
can't wait to learn more about the new characters!

I don't really know what to think of the direction the show's going in.

None of the characters are that likeable anymore, they're all assholes now.
Especially Locke, damn bi-polar old fart.

And what the **** is with the cover-up of the plane crash?!

7/10. I enjoyed it but it really felt like they had to pack a lot in.

Obviously if they wanted Benjamin so bad, they could of just picked a crack security team to pick him up (I think the reason Naomi was disgusted by the same idea). So there is another reason for a Physicists and Ghostbuster and a an something-pologist

I do like Daniel Faraday, he is one of the more believeable characters; whimpish but has initiative. Afterall when he ran out of answers for Jack, did you notice the slight overtone to when he said...

Rescuing you is not what you would call our Primary Objective

An improvised statement I thought.

But what I thought was interesting is

-Charlotte excavating the bones of what is obviously a polar bear in the deserts of Tunisia, with the collar, that offcourse means Dharma were not only capable of Time Travel, but also travelling large distances.

-Daniel's statement about the Light not Scattering Quite right on the island

Episode 2 is way better than Ep1

8/10: set the season into motion

And what the **** is with the cover-up of the plane crash?!

The whole plane thing is explained more in the ARG that was happening before season 4 premiered.

There was a site called find815, where this guy sam I think recorded his journey to find the plane. He eventually tags along with some guys on a boat, where they do find 815, but sam realizes its a setup or something and that they placed that fake wreckage down there for whatever reason

Good episode.

Not sure why, but Charlotte seemed really annoying to me.

The only thing that bothered me about the episode (bothered is probably the wrong term since I didn't really think it was that much of a detraction) was that the flashbacks consisted of several mini ones, meaning we didn't get a really fleshed out story for any of them.

Also, I'll take as much Daniel Faraday as they're willing to give.

what do you think "Because I've got a man on their boat" means?

Plus what did they think they'd have to do with all that chemical warfare shit just to get to Benjamin for? They're definitely there for more than him

Other than that, great episode

I think Ben might mean that, as he said, he has a man on their boat. :p As in someone he knows, someone that was part of his team/group.

I think the man Ben sent on the boat was Michael Dawson, his real intention wasn't to send him home but to send him to that freighter possibly. That character is supposed to return sometime this season and I think we will see him on the freighter.

My thoughts exactly.

Interesting theory, I had never thought of that. Thinking about it, there is a connection there with Walt ''talking'' to Locke, too.

First of I think Dan being a physicist is a slight but obvious refrence to our beloved Half-Life.

He's statement about the way the light scatters makes me think theres some invisibility bubble around the island. I say this because a practical (but fictional) way to become invisible is to bend light. and the light scattering is a side effect of this.

The sexy new british girl found evidence that Dharma was experimenting with teleportaion imo. btw I'll miss you Naomi! But now Charlotte is my #1

The sexy new british girl

ummm NO.

interesting thought about the island being invisible though
that could explain why Dan is there and why the island is almost impossible to locate

I think she's pretty good looking to be honest.

9/10 - Quite the Episode.

I'm seriously loving Lost at the moment. I know it's only been three episodes but it's as if this is it now - we're really getting deep into the story. Season 3 took us to new and exciting places (the other island, etc) but all these new characters and mind-boggling flashforwards are really something.

Really loving the new characters, though. It's nice to see new faces that aren't just throw away bastards that are either a) exactly that - bastards, or b) killed in a rush. Can't wait to find out more.

I loved season 3 but it was more of a ''hey, Lost is on, time for some entertainment'' but I'm really eager for everything season 4 has to offer now.

Yeah, I think I misheard Locke, I thought he said "Why?" but I guess he said "How do you know?"

I think you're overthinking the physicist thing, it may be that it makes sense in the story that he's a physicist

You're invisible island theory's pretty good, I was thinking about that last season, would make sense

Awesome episode indeed

Same, I'm totally wrapped up in the story right now:bounce:

Here's my big flash forward theory:
The creepy black guy from the mental hospital is from the company that ran Dharma and he is making an effort to control/kill anyone who knows anything about the island, including those still on it. The invisible theory works with it because if he knew how to get there he could probably have taken care of it by now

Somehow Ben got off the island and wrapped his POV around Sayid who is taking out anyone in Dharma

Jack is facing some urge to get back to the island and Hurley is meant to help the island residents from something

As for Kate, I suppose we find out next week

I completely agree here.

The Economist - 9/10

Fantastic episode. What is your take on the 31 min time difference of the "pay load"?

At first I thought it might of landed somewhere else, at another beacon that was set up long before. Its interesting though that Faradey is experimenting with the island itself.

Damn I love his character, though. I love all of the 'team', although I'm not too keen on the new girl.

Yeah, I loved the new episode. The ending was great and unexpected.

EDIT: Does it seem to anyone else like they're just making it up as they go along?

Okay.I started the pilot episode one week ago. I am now completely caught up to Season 4. It's been a hell of a ride. I'm going to sleep now.
