actually your not the first to do this. I've been doing it since day 1 of playing the game plus its only my walkway plus you should feel happy not sad
 
It's back up. My computer crashed. First time ever. Then I installed some updates. Should be good to go now.
 
I'm telling ya, we're going to need a subsection real soon. The games only going to get more popular as it progresses out of Alpha.

If anyone knows who did this please report them to any admin. Lucky I have a great neighbor who helped me out. and all the cobble was replaced from the giant project going on in the sea.
 
Is there any way too look over the server log and see who was there? That must have taken a while to do.
 
It is really annoying that someone is doing this shit. At first I was thinking maybe all the thieving was just glitches with the inventory system in multiplayer games, but the wall thing couldn't have been.
 
Going away for about 2 weeks, but i should be able to log in once or twice. Better build something insane for me to go "holy shiiiiit" over when i come back.

Is there a way to get this without having to sign up for a torrent site? (I once signed up for a twitter account to try and save one of my favorite tv shows, and I haven't used it since.)

Also: That sucks about the griefing. How many people are on the whitelist? It's a really crappy feeling knowing that one of the guys we trusted and let in is doing this. I really don't want the server to get a case of "the Red Scare". (could it be a glitch? If it is its a DAMN big one)

me thinks it wasn't a griefer because the said greifing is perfect cuts. the hole that was "dug" was very symmetrical. weird part was, the water was perfectly even. i will investigate some other day but hopefully it all goes well

Just click on the link. You shouldn't have to sign up for anything. You just download the file and unzip it. Then place the world into your minecraft folder.

Was it like the opposite of what happened with morgan's place? Instead of placing material, removing material instead?

EDIT: Yeah, I think that's what happened. Seems the most plausible.




HOWEVER. We still have tunneling thieves. If you have friends on the server, instruct each of them that they're not to do that. And if you're doing it... you best stop. One of the most uncool things you can do, taking advantage of the trust of fellow hl2.netters.
 
Also, I'd like to send my love to everyone in the server tonight for helping destroy the gigantic block of death in the spawn :3.
 
can we do a vote to leave the world on sunlight only for a while?? it would be nice to play the game with 100% efficiency on

It's the multiplayer world that we've created together. I upload so people can render maps, but you can play around with it in single player too.
 
And by play around with it singleplayer he means you can... do stuff like this!

I've just bought Minecraft. My username is Dekstar.
 
What happened to Warped's wall is the same as at morgs' place. Chunks became corrupted so the game regenerated a 16x16x128 area, obviously removing whatever was there before, and the resultant terrain doesn't fit with its surroundings. There's one over by my place as well.
 
Added Dekstar. When giving your name, please be sure to give it caps sensitive or else it won't work.
 
Do I have to buy the game to play with you guys?

I've been playing through the java client, can I download it for free?

If I can play for free add Solaris152 please and tell me the server name.
 
You can not play Survival Multiplayer with the free client, no.

You'll have to purchase the game like the rest of the people in here, I'm afraid.
 
I've started moving my stuff over to a new place that I'm carving out off a cliff side. I have no idea where it is (I'm pretty sure it's a previously unexplored area) so thank god for /home and /spawn. I'll try to find it when the newest map render gets posted.
 
I'm currently in the process of carving out a huge mountaintop.

Going to be placing a pyramid on here.

This is going to take me tons and tons of hours of solid digging. Many diamond pickaxes and shovels.



FYI people DO NOT DESTROY CHESTS. if you do, you won't be able to get the items from it. You'll lose those items.

If you want to remove a chest, transfer all the items to your new chest first, then destroy it.
