Quite frustrated in my modeling at the moment as I try to figure out a way to craft the blade portion and get it to look right.

I'll get it, I'm sure.

Ah, The Sopranos... a show where the last 2 seasons were complete shit and ruined any good it had in the past.

Gay mobsters, a pussified Tony, Junior going even more loco, and a shitty anti-climatic ending to the series.

edit : Although the first season was awesome.
 
I completed my butterfly knife, pretty much. The only thing I really want to tweak and change is the Torx screws on 6 parts. I won't do this until I talk to Krynn to see if he can help me with ideas on how to do it properly.

The absolute only changes I made on this thing is also leaving out two screws. Everything else is modeled as accurately as I was able to do it.

I want time to be able to learn how to skin it even simply, and animate it as well as render it nicely. I want to be able to show it off good, so I'll have to figure out how I can do that in a fun way.


I'm soooo excited I finished it! This thing is amazing looking! And I can pose it how a real butterfly knife can be posed, with the latch and everything. When I do show it I'll probably make a thread for it, and I'll also show pictures of what I modeled it off of, so you can see how accurately I tried to model it.

YAY!
 
Off to bed now. Exam 2moz at 9:00am. It's 10:35pm atm.

I AM SO ****ING TIRED. Been up forever working on this thing... some parts being stupidly ridiculous and taking up insane amounts of my time.

I am so proud how I was able to take boxes and craft all this stuff. The most difficult part was getting the contour of the blade to be accurate to the actual knife I have. YAY.

Going to bed now.

Holy shit, I just went outside to take out the rubbish and my entire street is in a deep fog and there's this huge orange glow in the west. F*cking creepy.

That is so wierd , my dad said when he was littel this happened to him , he thought it was a UFO (because it was aparantly hovering several feet off the ground in front of him , and that he was illuminated by the glow) was it blimp shaped by any chance?

I will spend the first half of my day today doing some work on HL2Wars (and Ballmen if I have time to get to that) and the second half chillin' with hot bitches. God I love the summer.
 
ACH i just found a huge tick on my neck. I managed to pinch him off and get his pincer mouth thing out without sticking in my skin. He tried to crawl away and I lit him on fire, I ****ing hate ticks. He must have been on my neck (collarbone actually) since last night.

I figured a tick warranted a double post and if I was gonna double post misc was the place to do it, heh. I don't think the doctor is necessary, I've been bitten by ticks quite a few times (it's pretty unavoidable in North Carolina in the summer if you go in the woods at all) and I have a healthy immune system. If I get really sick (lyme disease or something) I'll go straight to him but until then I'm good.
 
Oh , well we dont get ticks round here , that and i never leave my house so its nigh impossible.
