I have World in Conflict, I have the EXACT (and a little above) recommended system requirements, yet I can't run it at even medium without lag..

One of the VERY few (like maybe 5) games I actually bought (for PC), and it doesn't even work good.. I always get ripped off when I pay for games... I'm 'getting' games other ways from now on, no more buying.

Except Valve games, they deserve my money, everyone else can **** off.

Works fine for me 1600x900 MAX DX10, FULL AA/AF. Lag on two maps only. Oh and i added in all the crazy stuff like reflect all clouds etc.

The screenshots looks pretty for an RTS, but I think it's probably even better when you see it in motion.

I love this game.. It seems better then the average FPS because the guns seem so powerful, super recoil, you can barely see when you shooting as your whole screen moves around, it's awesome. Plus the premise is just bad-ass, ****ing aliens.

This level is like the second level (after the tutorial), I actually just recently learned they have it for PC. I like it better on PC then the consoles, even though it's a port from consoles..

It's a last gen game, but still so much fun.

Oh lol, I neglected to mention the game's name! It's Area 51. I got to check out Blacksite, see if it's any good, or as good as the first.. I actually never beat it, I rented it from blockbuster about a year after it was released, but I had a hell of a time getting it to work, and when it finally did it kept freezing in the middle of the game, then when ever I went out to get it, no one ever had it . So I beat about 50% of the game... Now to beat the rest!

Also - What mod for what game?! (I'm guessing Battlefield 2?)

Forgotten Hope 2 for BF2.
Best mod ever.

The only reason I just got it for PC is because I recently got upped to 1gb RAM and got upped to a 7600GT from a FX5600. I've been playing alot of games since then I can also run BF2 at full now opposed to lagging at minimum before XD

I'm checking out that mod..

It's huge, it's like a whole new game.
The detail to everything is very intricate, I spent a few hours just walking around maps marveling at the detail.

Jesus Christ, I started downloading when I made that last post, and it's at 97% with 3 minutes to go.. Better be worth, or I will end you, lucid.

On a related note to my screens, I made it past the level my disc crapped out on PS2, I'm officially playing new content of the game \o/

And yes, from the time I made that post and started dling I was playing the game the whole time D: 2 and 1/2 hours almost exactly..

Just a couple things about the mod, there's only one server.
But it's always active, there would be more but I guess, according to the people who run the current server, there's a pretty bad crash to desktop bug that plagued a few of them... so they gave up.
I haven't experienced any issues aside from my usual Punkbuster woes.

And, you may or may not get long load times(longest I got was about 50 secs) and the performance could be a problem so just bring your settings down to medium.

Oh damn, If SupCom is any indication of performance then I'm not risking $50+ on this.

it runs at least 150-200% better than supcom due to lots of optimizations and not as many units onscreen at the same time for me.
