Metroid Prime 3.

About half way through it. Revolutionizing console FPSs forever. Will NEVER go back to a dual analog shooter...ever. It's a smidge below a mouse for accuracy. Gorgeous graphics....the art design is some of the best I've ever seen. Boss battles have been EPIC. Same Metroid feel, which, IMO, is top notch. So much to do and explore.

The only negative is that we've played this before...2 times. BUT, even knowing that, it's a trilogy so you wouldn't make drastic changes and this should be expected. I wouldn't knock the score down for this.

Best game on the Wii, so far.

9.8/10

So you liked it then? :)

It does sound great. MP3 and Mario Galaxy all before Christmas - time to celebrate \o/

Close Combat - A Bridge Too Far

Awesome game, I got it with a military magazine that I used to subscribe to quite a few years ago.
But I think it had a different name, it was still a Close Combat game though.

Half-Life 2 Episode One - 7/10

All the awesomeness of HL2 packed into 4-5 hours, I'd have given it a solid 9.8/10 if it wasn't such a f*cking crashfest. Seriously my biggest worry about Episode Two is not the storyline or gameplay, but technical stability.

Well you can give it a bad a rating just because it doesn't run well on your computer lol.

Considering that the Steam forums have a thread with 1,000+ posts on the problem, with the victims trying all solutions and running all kinds of hardware, it's obviously something wrong with the game itself. Not to mention that it only happens with Episode One.

Well, the crash hit me a few times in regular HL2, but Episode One is the only one that gets it like crazy, especially in Exit 17 when you're escorting the citizens to the trains. Never had it in an MP Source game.

Call Of Duty United Offensive 9/10

The multiplayer is superb, it's slow when it needs to be and picks up when there's a big fight. The sound effects are spot on and the weapons are sexy. The maps are well thought out and realistic and the vehicles are just right. Bounding round in a jeep with a side passenger (who can shoot) and a gunner on back and coming face to face with the snout of a panzer is somewhat unnerving.

Also, great graphics and effects for its time, if this was revamped with modern looks it would be game of the year all over again.
**** yeah, I love that game. Foy, picking teammates up with the jeep, only to drive it into the minefield. Oh the fun I had there.
Call Of Duty games have always had awesome MP.

lol i remember seeing that happening alot, i did lol even though very annoying for the guys in it, driving a jeep close to a minefield with tank shells blowing up in front and around you= WIN!!!!!!

awesome mp! although cod2 mp blew imo.

Its so simple yet so awesome.

Medal Of Honor : Airborne (demo) 8/10

Its a bit 'same old same old', but the parachuting in anywhere aspect is nice..if a bit limited (doesnt seem to move fast enough to get to the edge of the map where you WANT to land). Combat is intense however, weapons are finally realistic. AI is a bit weird sometimes, they like to fight right in the open when theyre surrounded. Nice to be able to run around freely though.

Now, if I were to do that

Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri; 5/10 (Graphics are slow, and some cinematics are choppy)

Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear; 3/10 (Grenade, Reload, and activation lags, and choppy sound)

Half-Life; 6/10 (Sound choppy, slow sequences, laggy sequences)

Super Power; 8/10 (Slow selection rates)

Half-Life 2; 0/10 (I'll be lucky to install it)

Shall I go on?

Bioshock - 100000000/10
Best game I've ever played. The story was awesome and very compelling, and the plot twist near the end surprised me. I couldn't play more than a few hours a day, probably because I wanted to savor the story. Great game. Replaying again.

Yeah. I've had it for a week and I've only played it for a few hours everyday. I want to saviour the goodness. :p

Rouge squadron 2: rouge leader 8/10

a very good star wars game for the 'cube, very atmospheric and quite hard. It still looks great after about 5 years. The missions do get repetitive after a while.

Not a ray shield in sight though :p

Bioshock 9/10. A top game that teases with moments of greateness and some that are just very good.

Bioshock 9/10
A perfect game. But some techincal glitches are bugging me. Sometimes, the game shut itself and I have just poped out into Windows. The biggest problem is that all the settings are reset into default after this happened.

That would suck if you were playing Inversive o something =|

I must confess, I played through SMAC again, on a much more 'fufilling' scale, and I got ALOT more out of it, 11/10 ^^.

Call Of Duty 3 on the other hand. . .

Multiplayer (Xbox Live); 9/10 (never played story =P)

DONT play the single player, the CoD3 single player was about as gripping as a turd left in a toilet overnight.

Same. The last couple of games I'd played (one of qwhich was Stalker) had me convinced that I was bored of computer games (except the HL series and messing about in San Andreas - as a sandbox game it's still terrific), which made me quite sad.
Bioshock has, with no hyperbole, restored mny faith in enjoying games.

I think the gameplay in Bioshock was lame, giving off a royal stench of console game. The only thing I found appealing was the graphics. Other than that, it's just a game where you can't actually aim your mouse because for some reason it lags. Makes aiming with a joypad look easy.

Bit like the others then ;)

I'm interested in your MP3 review, Sea. Hope it's relatively spoiler free.

Sounds like someone needs a new mouse. I've never heard anybody complain about the mouse controls.

rating the game off performance, is not the way to go, unless, it's the game itself. . . scratched disks don't count, or else ALL my ratings go down to 0/10

I played the demo with my crappy computer, and my mouse would always take 3 seconds to move, and when i finally got to the game i was lagging really bad and the graphics looked like Quake 2. by the way the settings were on low.

Lol, loving the new ratings system guys.

Bioshock - 0/10
My dog ate it.

Company of Heroes - 3/10...

Gorgeous graphics and fantastic sound, but it's so unrealistic.
I mean, who are you? God? You can magically create soldiers and vehicles from tiny little buildings in seconds.
You have a cursor that you move around to select units... I mean how the hell is that realism?
Really, the list could go on... this is probably the worst game I've ever played.

Thats why we take a step back into reality and remember its a realism game.

I guess a more realistic way would be to radio the units or send a runner (both with associated delay in corresponding action by affected units).

You've never played an RTS before?

Company of Heroes - 9/10
Great great great great great great great game.

Guild Wars - 9/10

Very fun game. The story is completely excellent, and the graphics are ace. The music really does help with the settings, as well. I only gave it a 9, because well....I reserve that for Starcraft 2.

And what's this "new rating" system thing going on?

Far Cry

The game itself- 8/10

The ads in the game- **** YOU/10
