Enter the Matrix - 3/10...

Hell, It was only 5 bucks...
But damn... worst $5 spent on a video game, ever.

I was hoping that the movement would've been like Max Payne, but nooo... it's all rigid and stuff.
The animations are god awful too.
The only thing that gave it the 3 points are the film footage and good voice acting.

Dark Age of Camelot

I quit for two years, but came back because it sounded like the game has changed for the better, which it has. Hey, it beats the hell out of WoW, I give it 8/10

Really? Please do elaborate, I've been looking for a decent WoW alternative (until Vanguard comes out :)).

Half-Life 2 - 10/10, even though i'm up to that god damn 'defend the control point using turrets' bit. I hate those. So... cliched.

But everything else has been brilliant, or awesome, or awesomebrilliant. Again. So 10/10.

The last game I play was Deus Ex, for the 100th time.

I give it 10/5 bikes.

Saints Row - 4.3/5 pimp canes.

SAINTS ROW BITCH, SAINTS ROW BITCH!!

:p

Plus it was holy OMFG disproportionately difficult to the rest of the game :p

Starcraft, the RTS that made RTS's what they are today, a little dated now though, and THE game in need of a sequel, add-on, extra-level ANYTHING JUST CONTINUE THE ****ING STORY PLEASE! 9.8/10

Neverwinter Nights: Like Starcraft, a little dated but quite fun singleplayer (but is let down by a story which sucks beyond belief) and has some of the best multiplayer around. 8/10

World of Warcraft: Cute, addictive, but not my cup of tea (I luv warcraft tho). 6/10.

HL2: Episode One, excelent story, fantastic gameplay, one of, no THE most polished FPS ever. 10/10

It's been out far long than WoW has been. In fact, I think it's DAoC's 5th year anniversary or so. The PvP and PvE is simply... better, than WoW's. Thats only my opinion though. This isn't a thread about DAoC so I'm just ganna wrap it up. Try out the 14 day trial if you really interested. If you do like it, pick up the DAoC Epic Edition, it's only $20, and it comes with DAoC along with all of its expansions.

Oblivion 5/10 - if this is the future of RPGs God help us all
The Movies 6/10 - great ideas but crap implementation - Pete M had great ideas but they always get lost on the way to production

Dead Rising - 8.5/10. A solid 10/10 game that has the odd point shaved off for some minor irritations (poor save system and some questionable friendly AI). Despite being an old skool game at heart, it feels very fresh, is super gory, and has made me laugh more than any other game in years.

Pish posh. Depends on how good of a turret seterupper you are!

Exactly. It was difficult the first time through, because I was a moron and didn't realise I could set the turrets back up if they got knocked over. So it was hard like hell. But that aside, I would say that the turret battle isn't even the most difficult one.

Saints Row - 9/10 - Very fun game. Didn't think it would be this good! :)

world of warcraft - 10/10 - I'm too addicted to this game at the moment to have an unbiased opinion.

operation flaspoint - 10/10 - had some minor bugs, but the level of realism in this game is something I've always looked for in games. cant wait for the sequal.

Shadow of the Colossus - 9/10

>__> I just climbed up the side of the main temple, all the way up to the bridge/ending video area. I beat it a while ago though.

Lego Star Wars II - 9/10

Simple gameplay, tons of fun. And also great humour.

Deus Ex: The Conspiracy- 7/10
Pretty good FPS, wish it would allow you to invert the ****ing y axis so you could aim.

Mortal Kombat: Deception- 9/10
Gory, brutal, and fun.

Super Mario World

9/10 because the controller was broken and I couldn't run to the right.

Perfect Dark Zero 9.0/10 fun singleplayer, Bad ass multiplayer story line stinks
G.R.A.W ****ing amazing 10/10
TFC 10/10 so addictive
DOA4 8.5/10 gets repetative but tons of fun

Big Brain Academy (DS)

8/10

Fun game, keeps me from getting progressively stupider, but the puzzles get pretty repetitive after a one-hour-plus play session. Plus the visual design, while endearing, is very, very simple and doesn't use the power of the DS at all. Not that it particularly detracts from the gameplay, but good aesthetics are never a bad thing.

Combat Elite: WW2 Paratroopers-3/10

RPGish WW2 game that runs on the same engine as Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2. Sucks.

F.E.A.R. - 9.4/10

Amazing gunfights, amazing and scary story (though unfinished).

The lighting got me the most. The ability to shoot a light on the ceiling watching the light in the room sway with the lighting fixture was probably one of the most impressive thing I've seen done in a game.

Defcon - 5.6/10...
Great idea, nice visuals...
Fun for an hour, and that's it.

Scarface / PS2 - 8.1/10...

Best Vice City clone ever? Excessive swearing, blood & gore, great driving physics... only drawback are the dated visuals.

Max Payne 9/10
I love darkish movies and games. They have this awesomeness.

Supreme Commander Beta

9/10. And that's with just skirmish and multiplayer. If the final product comes with a decent single player component, it'll be getting a 13/10.

Gears of War-9/10

Amazing visuals, fun gameplay, and a f*cking chainsaw built into your gun.

Medieval Total War 2 8.9/10

It's not a giant step from Rome Total War, so a 9 or higher would have been a bit too much, but if you're a fan of the series you'll love every bit of it.

MTW 2 9/10

It is a giant step over Rome, the AI can actually win battles (AI could never defeat me in Rome unless it had a 10 to 1 man advantage. In MTW it fights much more intelligently, though sometimes it does brain fart.)

Call Of Duty 3 - 7/10

Its too much like CoD2 imo, but with more polish, new looking weapons and the best folliage ever? Brings a smile to your face sometimes, generally very very fun.

Stronghold - 2/10

Ok sure, ill build this so i can build this, and with this i can...uhh...Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Need For Speed Carbon - 8/10

Cool ideas. No more drags *sniff*. Cops are un-****ing-believeably hard sometimes. If youre a fan of NFS series though, its a combo of Underground 2 and Most Wanted. Great fun multiplayer though, styling your car beforehand for free.

Final Fantasy XII - 9.5/10

A lot of fun, original story + setting, good voice acting (for once), no horrible, cheesy, corny laughing (looking at you FFX).

Jagged Alliance 2 - 8/10

Huge Maps, lots of Characters, top quality voice acting (hilarious too), tons of guns. I just don't know how to beat it.

Guitar Hero 2 - 9/10 *Music selection is rather weak on this one.*

Natural-Selection - 9/10 *It's not on Source yet :p*

I wish I could play NS again...

But for some reason nothing pertaining to the original Half-Life works for me anymore.
The game crashes whenever I'm about to actually enter the game.
Happens with Day of Defeat and CS1.6. :|

I tried reinstalling HL and all the mods several times too.

have you tried renaming your original steam folder than reinstalled steam/half-life? I had the same type of problem that was fixed when I deleted EVERYTHING half-life *including OP4 and such.dunno why they mattered* and it ended up working.

Hm... No, but I'll give it a try. Thanks. :D

By original Steam folder do you mean... C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam?... So I change Steam to something like Steam 2?
