Baby Cart in Peril 9/10

Gut spilling and even more blood spraying wholesome family fun :farmer:

Tae Guk Gi (Brotherhood of War)

10/10

Awesome film. Must watch.

Favorite:
"Don't shoot! We surrender!"
"Commies aren't human! Kill them all!"
*gunshots * 100*

Walk the Line - 10/10... Excellent performances by Joaquin and Reese, they both have a natural talent for singing.

Stanley Kubrick's The Shining - 7/10... Meh, It gave me a few jumps... but Tony as Danny's Finger? A hedge maze? Dick dying? x.x... typical book to movie.

Guy X - 6/10

Got Wes Anderson's Bottle Rocket, will be watching it tonight.:E

Running Scared - 8/10
Violent, profane, sexual, and unapologetic - just the way I like em. Paul Walker actually turns in a very decent performance. And there's one scene that should have you squirming in your seats, very icky.

Edit: Just watched Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang - 9.8/10
Wow, I loved this movie, especially the style of it. And I've never been much of a Robert Downey Jr. fan, but damn was he good in this movie. This is definitely the best buddy movie I've seen in a while, along with being a great crime film. I simply cannot praise this movie enough.

Wedding Crashers: 8/10.

I didn't hope for much in this movie but it turned out really good. The first hour was "rofl" but then it slowed down a bit.

Red Sun 8/10

Good old Western/Samurai thing. I was so pissed with the ending though.

Peter Jacksons King Kong 9/10

Watched the 33 original the other day, then this one straight after, the new one takes the 33 original with it`s shitty acting, annoying female lead and one dimensional story, and pisses on it from a great height, adding some great performances from the cast, especially Niomi Watts, who was essentially acting with f*ck all, corking action scenes and the best 40ft Gorilla effects ever seen.

So, it had bits that were not needed, strange then that when films get bits cut, fans get upset because they never see them, or when directors cuts come out, fans go mad for them.

Just no pleasing some people.

Red Eye 4/10

Had some good bits on the plane, but totally predictable end, and no shock moments at all.

40 Year Old Virgin 5/10

Poor Jokes, went nowhere with the story, was basically trying to do the American pie thing I think, just no where near as well.

North Country 8/10

Watched this with my missus, and suprisingly I enjoyed it.
You really start to feel for these poor girls with what the had to put with.

The Butterfly Effect (Directors Cut) - 8/10. I liked it a lot. Apparently the ending to the theatrical cut was awful (wouldnt know, havent seen it), but the ending to this version was really excellent. I even shed a (single) tear.

2001 - A Space Odyssey: Really deep and surreal. A very slow movie, but great none the less.

Equilibrium (again) - 8.5/10... It's definitely a deep movie. Gun katas are the pwn.

Kung Fu Hustle - 9/10

Very very very very odd.

Mysterious Skin - 8/10
Not really for the faint of heart, since it's basically about the effects child molestation had on two very different boys. Poeple who are offended by homosexuality probably shouldn;t watch, since one of the main characters is gay and ends up becoming a prostitute. The story is interesting and Joseph Gordon Levitt is really good in it (can't wait to see him in Brick). Lots of tough scenes to watch in this movie and there was an overwhelming feeling of sadness I got from it. Still, a good movie about a difficult subject.

I only watched 20 minutes of it; of what I saw it was pretty good. But the molestations of the kids was too much for me. I've become really fond of Joseph Gordon Levitt, hes making some good movies.

Bottle Rocket - 6.8/10. Not as good as other Wes Anderson movies.

Day Watch - 8/10
Finally got the subs for it and could watch it. Lots of stuff going on very quickly, just like Night Watch. I get the feeling that I'm missing things not having read the books. Overall pretty damn cool, and the story is very fast-paced, with a lot of things happening. I liked it personally, but I also liked Night Watch. If you don;t like Night Watch, I doubt you'll like it. Definitely make sure you've seen Night Watch before watching this film though, because it assumes you've watched Night Watch.

Syriana - 7.5/10

Very good performances from an ensemble cast, but I found the plot difficult to get into at first (there's about 5 different threads/plots/themes running through the movie) but it all pays off in the end. Recommended.

Firewall - 6.5

Just your usual Harrison Ford thriller. They actually tried to use an actual operating system at least instead of inventing some random easy to read OS. Family gets kidnapped, he takes out the bad guy - the end. Predictable.

Con Air - 8.6/10... was a fun action flick to watch. Nicholas Cage ftw.

Small Soldiers - 6/10... nice effects, okay acting... corny corny CORNY.

Lord of War 8/10
good film

Doom 6/10
it wasnt that bad.

Ah Megama Sami!:the movie 9/10
I like the anime series more^^

Jarhead DVD - 10/10

Great... great movie.
Superb acting, great cast, awesome story... hell if this was a book I'd totally read it.

Too bad the guy it's based on seemed to be a pretty rotten soldier. Pointing a gun at your fellow Marine and telling him you're going to blow his brains out? That's pretty f*cked up in my book.

Robocop - 9/10
Pure 80's pleasure. I had forgotten how violent it was. So cheesy and violent that it absolutely kicks ass.

It's still in my top 10 :)

Erm, there is. Its by Anthony Swofford.

Yeah, I found out about the book about 1 minute prior to putting up my critique. :p
Picking it up tommorow.

Harry Potter 4 - 7/10... Meh, Corny as all hell... nice effects and okay acting... it was just a yawn-fest for me.
I stopped reading the books after the 3rd one, lost interest... might be why I didn't quite enjoy the movie.

Enemy At The Gates - 9/10 - Awesome movie. Snipers are awesome. Canada holds the world record of a sniper shot of 2 miles last time I checked.

HAX! Aimbot.

Baby Cart in Hades 9/10

One of the best ones yet. Now I must see the remaining three movies.

The Hills Have Eyes: 8/10

Creepy in the beginning, but then it just gets bloody, which can be good in a different way.

Ultraviolent 2/10. The main char is a female with tight clothes...so it gets 2 points

Hills have eyes 1/10. It is so cliche and predictable you dont even need to see the movie to know what happens. Not to mention a girl getting raped by a mutant and a mutant sucks on another girls boob does not make for a good movie. Just sick.
