Saw 3 - 3/10...

****ing friends dragged me along, luckily I didn't pay.
Horrible acting(surprise?)... predictable twists... stupid 'games'. -_-

So, I then invited them the next day to see The Departed.

The Departed - 8.9/10...
Best mob movie I've seen in awhile.
DiCaprio's finest performance, imo.

Slither 7/10 - amusing and gory, alien/bug/worm lands on earth, sci-fi with Mal from Firefly in it.

The Hitcher 8/10 - Rutger Hauer is such a badass in this movie. Good stuff.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind-5/10

Forced to watch during class, didn't really understand shit for most of the movie.

You fail at life, GTFO!

Little Shop of Horrors - 8.2/10...
One of the few musicals I can stand. Man-eating plants ftw.

Saw 3 - 4/10

Load of shite. Why anyone would want to see how much gore a film can put on the screen is beyond me. The 2 goes for the storyline only, which, granted, has a few nice twists.

Borat - 100/10

Funniest...film...ever...
I swear, one scene i laughed so hard i actually cried. You laugh every 10 seconds.

I've never heard of Borat before, but from what everyone's saying it certainly seems to be the funniest film of the year.

I guess I could go see it on Friday.

Falling Down - 8.8/10...
Still the best "Postal" movies out there.
The fast food restaurant scene is easily the best in the whole movie, as I'm sure we've all had one of those days.

Considering what made it into the film, I don't know if I want to see some of the stuff on the DVD.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - not the old one but the one made in 2004 or so, with that hot looking girl , Jessica Biel or so? Goddamn, the movie was okay but I couldn't concentrate with that gorgeous body of her... And I loved the ending with the sheriff and the car, you know... I give it a 7,5/10

Risky Business - 9/10. Beautiful 80's movie with a simply astounding electronic soundtrack. I recommend it to those who love typical 80's films.

Jules and Jim- I finally got to see it! I could never find the DVD for a price that I wanted to buy, but yeah, I was at a friend's tonight and caught it on HBO or one of those channels. I loved it, it sort of reminded me of Requiem for a Dream meets Band of Outsiders, or something like that. I thought it was really great.

The 400 Blows- Yeesh, pretty depressing, but I loved it too. The last shot was reallly, really haunting.

Network- I thought it was funny, I thought the performances were great, and the writing was totally amazing. It wasn't perfect, but I enjoyed it anyway.

Same ****ing thing here mate D:

Saw III - 2/10 - Bullshit.

The Prestige - 9/10

A really good film by a director who deserves way more recognition. This really is one of the ebst films of the year. And it had me guessing right up to the very, very end.

La Strada - 9.0/10

Anyone else watch this? Really good but I felt the ending left something to be desired. Poor Gelsomina ;(

Barabbas - 7.9/10...
Fairly enjoyable movie, a bit dull in some parts... but it was still quite watchable.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - 8.7/10...
I watched this with pretty low expectations, but wow...
Total mindf*ck, and I loved it. :D

GOD DAMN YOU! I really want to watch this movie, but I can't find it anywhere :(

Anyway, Babel was pretty meh. I loved 21 Grams (I guess that makes me one of the few and the proud), but this one went on way too long, and dragged like hell, mainly through most of the middle and the end. It was really well directed, but yeah, meh.

Brotherhood - 9/10.

If anything could define awesome, then it would be this. Real brutal stuff, showing some really nasty fist fights and bayonets to the face and the like, but still a really emotional movie. Great stuff.

Minority Report - 10/10

One of the best movies I've ever seen. Tom Cruise does an excellent job in this film. The story is amazing, and I highly, highly, reccomend getting this movie.

The Last Castle - 10/10

Another of my favorite movies, this one has a great plot and the ending is one of the best movie climaxes ever. Highly reccomended

Watched Volcano last night on C4.

Non-intentionally funny!

Stroszek- More infamously known as the last movie that Ian Curtis watched before he off'd himself. I actually really liked it, it's slow, not a lot happens, but the acting and dark humour was great. Go see it.

The Prestige - 7/10

The book was much better than the film, but the film was also well made and acted. The pacing and editing needed some work though, as some twists are so obvious from the beginning and so drawn out by the end that you just want the film to hurry up and finish. Still, good film.

Casino Royale - 9.5 / 10

Daniel Craig fits the role perfectly, so all the doubters can stfukthx. Awesome film, and a lovely bond car.
