Stranger than Fiction - 8/10 - Really enjoyed it. Glad it ended the way it did :)

Agreed:)

Evil dead 2- 9/10...hilarious.

Some people don't like Army of Darkness, especially film critics. I dont get it, it takes everything that made the second one great and then ramps it up.

Also, for your viewing pleasure, the three greatest scenes in movie history:

Groovy (1 and 2)

The best ending of all time:

Invasion of the Body Snatchers - 8/10

Gets +1 for Jeff Goldblum.

Man of the Year 8/10

Had some good bits, but in the end enjoyed it more for the political views with the odd laugh inbetween.

Monster House - 7.2/10...

Funny, didn't quite like the art style a whole lot though.

Yeah, lucid, get back in your age-parameter! Back in line, citizen! /me goes for baton

Last film I saw was Blackadder: Back and Forth. 10/10. Blackadder wins. The end.

It still got decent reviews, I like it's detractors like feeling ultra sophisticated or something...bunch of hacks imo.

Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines - ??/10

I only caught the ending, which was awesome.

This Film Not Yet Rated - 9/10

It's a documentary about the MPAA, its policies, its members, and how it operates. Most of it focuses on the organizations secrecy despite the fact that it gets to control the ratings that movies receive in the US. It's pretty much guaranteed to make you angry, but the film itself is funny and interesting. Oh, and if anyone wants to know you should expect lots of everything that will get a movie and NC-17 rating (sex and beyond).

Is this on video or still in theaters?

bah to you guys, Monster House is good fun.

It's hard to take the 'it's for kids stance' when we spend hours at a time playing video games ;)

Toy Story (1 and 2), Bugs Life and Monsters, Inc are some of my most loved films. :D

Gattaca - 8.9/10. One of the few sci-fi films i've enjoyed lately and a superb score.

Casino Royale - 8/10 one of the best in Bond Movies, though I have watch only one Bond movie before this, Tomorrow Never Dies. :)

Oh god you have such a skewed view of James Bond, then...

Almost Famous- 10/10- under appreciated, one of my favorite films:)

/EDIT: i need to watch army of darkness immediately, ive had all these ash quotes in my head all week and only Cambell can do them justice!

Spider Man 3 - 6.5/10

Not as bad as a lot of people have said. Yes, its a very messy film, there are too many baddies and subplots going on at once, but its quite an enjoyable mess. Also - Bruce mutha****in' Campbell.

Admittedly, I haven't seen any Bond films pre-80s or so, but that was always my favourite. That's if they actually get any better before that. I've never seen any with Sean Connery and he's repeatedly called the best Bond.

:upstare:

So basically you haven't seen James Bond. Get to it son, none of the recent Bond movies are on par with the old greats.

At least Connery's bond. Moore's and Dalton's are a bit of a joke. Lazenby's acting is pretty lazy (though the actual film is quite great). Bronsnan brought it back, though it all goes downhill in Die Another Day.

Videodrome - ??/10

What the **** did I just watch? This has to be the most soulless film I've ever seen.

Long live the new flesh.

Spiderman 3 - 7.5/10
Pretty much what I was expecting. Great in parts, but overall not very memorable (in that I don't remember half of it already). I liked it anyway.

Soylent Green - IT'S MADE/PEOPLE
Zing.

Yeah... this film didn't give me much of an impression. It was alright I guess. Nothing to write home about. Which I wouldn't anyway, cause I was watching it with dad.

Spiderman 3 - 7.5/10
Best of the 3, IMO. And I liked that uncle Ben's killer had a soul.

The Lion King (for the nth time) - 10/10
Amirite?

Yeah, gotta love the (spoiler) "I'd rather be with my uncle's mutant killer than my dying best friend who just sacrificed his life to save me" ending. But hey, atleast Spidey got some resolution, and that's what's really important, right? >_>
