Family Guy: Stewie's Untold Story - 9/10

Cant describe how much i laughed.

Spider-Man 3 - 8/10

Great film with great action, few elements iritated me though. Thought there was a little bit too much emphasis on relationship between MJ and Parker, the fact that Parker turning emo was meant to represent his evil side, the iritating strut he does half way through, and the even more iritating USA flag that fills the screen just before he jumps into the battle, no offense to the americans.

Other than those points, very good, not as good as the first though.

Pirates Of the Caribbean: At World's End
Completely ridiculous in ever way. Hell yeah. 9/10

The Da Vinci Code - 4/10...
Boring as ****, holy shit.

Beerfest - 0/10...
Stupid.

Accepted - 0/10...
Stupid x2.

A Scanner Darkly - 7/10

Entertaining, and certainly a treat for the eyes. However, it did seem to have a very amorphous narrative to it, which sometimes made it difficult to follow, and the abrupt ending left me feeling kind of strange. But then again, they did follow the novel pretty accurately, so I can't knock the film for that. I think I'll like this more with repeated viewings.

Oh, and watching this made me want to party with Robert Downey Jr.

The problem with a Scanner Darkly is it's too short. The ending felt rushed and inconclusive. They definately should've stretched it out to two hours. Id give it an 8 but it couldve been so much more, love the book btw.

Spiderman 3- 5.5/10
The first half was great, then the writers must have turned on the random scenario with no explanation generator. I hope this is Raimi's last Spidey film. Id like to see him take on a new project.

Equilibrium - 9.8/10...

Saw this a few years back and thought it was a yawnfest.

Bought the DVD yesterday, and my God... best 1984/Fahrenheit 451/The Matrix-esque movie ever?

Frailty - 6/10

Good until the last ten or fifteen minutes kills it. I would have liked a more ambiguous ending. Up to that point, it was a pretty unsettling story that went into the subject matter of religious fanaticism and its effect on the father's two sons. But... then they dropped the ball.

Casino Royal - 8/10

Entirely different from all previous Bond films and I think i like the difference a lot more. Awsome action as usual, the new Bond is exellent.

Hostel Part II - 3/10

Wow. Hostel sucked, but this sucks worse. Maybe if you liked the first you'll like this one. It's pretty much the same. Also, there's really nothing new in this film. A rehash, and a crappy one at that. I thought the first lacked a story and character development... til I saw this one. Makes the first look like a near masterpiece.

I know the guys at AICN are jizzing all over this movie, but it's really quite shite. Think twice before spending your hard-earned cash.

eXistenZ - 7/10

Saw it after Absinthe mentioned it in this thread. I smoked before I watched it, but I don't think that accounts for the vast majority of how ****ing weird that movie was. The sexual and druggy undertones to the bioporting was almost too much to deal with... but it certainly paints a good sci fi portrait of something else, despite the cheesiness of some of it. Worth watching, if only for being a true sci-fi movie.

Rambo: First Blood - 10/10

They drew first blood, they drew first blood. C'mon, freakin' great film.

The Waterboy - 8/10

Still makes me laugh heartily.

Strange night in front of the telly. :|

Knocked Up - 9.5/10

A helluva comedy. Definitely the funniest thing I've seen this year. Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd make a wonderful pair. It was also pretty fun how they managed to get Steve Carrell in there for a cameo appearance. And having Egon as Seth's dad was a stroke of genius. Finally, Katherine Heigl is hot.

Hostel part 2: 4/10 Same as the first no gore just a comedy.
High Tension: 6/10 Its was cool..

Scary Movie 4 - 8/10

Laughed a lot. But at the scene where the soldiers are fighting and 4 of them get blown up, and the teen guy says: "Awesome! I wanna fight!" whilst waving an amputated arm of a soldier, I immediately started reflecting upon my myself rather than watch the movie. I still am.

Ditto. Action followed by comedy in one night (last night) was awesome.

:|...

Knocked Up - 8.4/10...

Surprisingly funny, the trailers looked so shitty.

Da da da da da, watched The Long Kiss Goodnight
da da da da da, gave it 8 out of 10

(You'll get it if you watch the movie)

I debated giving it a 9/10 just for, "That's right, ya can't kill ME, motherf*ckers!"

Armageddon - 2/10...

Stupid, it takes a serious topic and shits all over it with idiocy.

However, if you leave your brain behind... I suppose it's a fun movie to wat-No wait, no it isn't... It has Ben Affleck trying to sing in it.

That film pretty much sucked ass. Though it's Bay - I wasn't expecting anything over a 5. :|

Damn i remember seeing that years ago and remembering it was ****ed up. Got to watch it again.

Oceans 13 - 8/10

Waay better than the second one. Very easy to get into the story and it was fun to watch. I thought it was going to suck like Paris Hilton on a Saturday night, but it was actually a good movie.

The Longest Day - 10/10

A pure classic

A Bridge Too Far - 10/10

Another pure classic. Very moving to know that over 8000 british paratroopers died at Arhnem, with only around 130 escaping capture. It was catastrophic what they went through to defend that bridge.

Band of Brothers (is a mini series by what the hell) - 10/10

Fasinating story, I salute the men of Easy Company! You want to know reasons why you shouldn't join the army, or LIKE wars, then watch this, purely shows the horrors that men have to face, be glad that you weren't in that war, and be very glad that you weren't in the Battle of the Bulge.

Yes im very bored, so i decided to watch the old war films on my shelf :D

That's good news, i really enjoyed the first one but thought the second was horrible(one of the worst ive seen).

Yeah agreed, loved Ocean's 11, second one i ended up switching off half way through.

Scary Movie 4 sucked complete and utter ass and the very idea of you giving it anything above a 3 is a frightening, horrible and incomprehensible vista of complete and utter madness.

And you gave it an 8. For shame.

QFTroof.

Requiem for a Dream - 8.7/10...
Classic, watched it while high for the first time... my God!
