Looks like The Dark Knight finally has an outside chance to dethrone Titanic as the highest gross film in the US. I really hope it does because I do not want Titanic to represent the pinnacle of the movie making industry in the US.

Tbh, it wasn't particularly the lack of Katie Holmes which I disliked, it was Maggie Jill-in-a-hall who I just disliked. I found her really irritating through most of the film. Up until near the end.

Saw this movie a few days after it came out. I thought it was very good and possibly excellent. but saying its the best movie in the last 10 years of even of all times is a huge stretch. i appreciate it was very story driven and not just batman vs. joker kinda thing, but even the plot got boring with all of its twists and turns and excess of character and such. Obviously i dont need to discuss the joker because there was no disappointment there. I thought some of the other characters werent as seen as much as i woudlve like, like morgan freeman, michael kane. Christian bale is a great actor and he is a very realistic batman, but this movie really detracted from the fact that he is the main part of the story.

All in all, very good movie, but quite over-hyped and had its obvious share of flaws....
