I think I have a pretty good shot at winning this tournament. Too bad for FatTony, he probably should have been second.

I'm pretty much done for today. I like to think I'm making up for those costly errors at the beginning, but I'm still far, far away from coming away victorious.

The War (slaughter) between Dan and A True Canadian will continue tomorrow...

Okay the monkey and evil milk are out of the tournament for inactivity.

In the intrests of teh tournament I am declaring myself winner of the
SolarisvAnthrax match as Anthrax hasn't posted in this thread or moved in the last couple of days.

I will play antianto, if anthrax objects to this ,
the match
SolarisvAnthrax will be resumed, the match solaris v antianto will be cancelled, and the winner will play anti antono.
If the match solaris v antianto, is finished without anthrax objecting, the winner will go through to round 3, and anthrax will lose his right to object and be declared eliminated from the tournament in round 1.

So based on the matchups in ROUND 1 (where the highest ranking plays the lowest ranking), these were how people ranked to begin the tournament:

For example, since the first matchup was dAnthraxxx vs. solaris152 you could make the argument that dAnthraxxx was the first seed and solaris152 was the 14th seed. Now as we all know, these pairings didn't last.

EvilMilk was supposed to play the TheTaxMan (monkey), and hl2netchamp(pressure) was supposed to play AntiAnto. Those two matchups then turned into this for some reason:

AntiAnto v. TheTaxMan (monkey)
hl2netchamp(Pressure) v. [no opponent]
EvilMilk v. [no opponent]

EvilMilk v. hl2netchamp (pressure) was supposed to happen, but didn't...

Evil Milk and pressure were both eliminated in round 1.
 
When I played against The Monkey, it wasn't official. It was only for fun. My real opponent was Pressure and he didn't play at all. So I won by forfeit.
 
Actually, The Monkey hasn't played one official match. There are two choices I guess. We ask him if he still wants to play, if so he would play against EvilMilk as the match would be part of Round 1. If he shows no interest, then he would be disqualified.
 
He is disqualified as neither him, nor evil milk have posted any match results or complaigned of the others inactivity.

2 names will be drawn from a hat, the winner plays the other guy. Both loser can play each other for secound place if they so wish.

Or another alternative, whoever wins their Round 2 matchup in the least amount of moves automatically qualifies for the Finals.
 
Then another alternative is to have 3 matches running simultaneously (a round robin):

Person A vs. Person B
Person C vs. Person A
Person B vs. Person C

And then if things are still tied (i.e. everyone wins once) then you do it again:

Person B vs. Person A
Person A vs. Person C
Person C vs. Person B

Keep going until someone wins twice in each set.
1 Person will finish with more wins than losses.
1 Person will finish with an even number of wins and losses.
1 Person will finish with less wins than losses.

It would also rank the top 3 pretty fairly.
 
Takes too long.
My way will work out fine, as everyone will play each other anyway.
