Understanding females - Hl2.net verison

The need to reproduce.
But anyway, yeah, I'm about the same. A lot of people like me, and I have lots of friends who are girls. I'm trying to make a first step now, It'll probobaly end out as a 'Oh thanks for [insert gift here] It's really nice.] And it'll end like that. Of course, I'm 14 so it's a bit different here.

Wait until your balls drop, you'll be going apeshit for some poon.

I like guys who don't over-analyze the implications of me being a female.

What's that, six girls on HL2.net that we know of?

Cool beans. Equality is on the rise!

Let's see..
Carly, Phobi, Kaptain... uhm.. That's all I know.

Yes, yes to what everyone else has said, but tbh I think theres a pretty big luck factor in the whole bit. You can't just throw two people together and expect them to have a relationship worth being in. You have to find someone that has, not necessarily similar interests, but I would say similar opinions on major topics (ie: religion, politics, whatever you're passionate about) and (heres the hard part) that is attracted to you in a romantic "non-friend or brother" way. Accomplish these two things and you're pretty much set for life. Except for the entire sex thing... on second thought scratch all of that and just take your allowance to the nearest street corner. Good luck!

I love how a lot of guys talk about girls like we're a different species. We're people too, not that hard to understand..

I've only just recently begun to realize that :(

I fear that too many people already recognize me as "that guy that's really quiet and doesn't say much during class".

Don't keep to yourself. If you do, people will eventually recognize you as "that guy that doesn't have anything to say" and won't waste their time with you.

we truly are incomprehensible, I sometimes have trouble understanding myself.

But don't worry if you're quiet or weird, there are females who are drawn precisely to your type. Like me, for example. I'm put off by guys who are loud, open, overly confident... I like a guy who seems human. And who doesnt make much noise about himself, because it shows he knows he doesnt have to. And being just a little bit weird always helps, it can only be interesting, as long as it's not along the lines of psycho weird...

Pitz is also female.

And so I am, if you ask the right questions.

[edit] Or maybe it's because I put too much emphasis on having a reasonable emotional and intellectual bond to go along with the sex.
Oh man, only after a few months I realized my (now ex) gf had pretty no opinion on anything. /cue me gtfoing

Haha sounds like me :D

You can never understand women. They don't even understand themselves.

You sir, are a douche!

I think he's got a point. But then I'd be hypocritical to agree with him, I barely understand myself.

It's incredibly hard to understand a woman, even after a 22 month strong relationship. Even after spending your entire time with someone for weeks on end, there's still so much more to understand.

Sure, you can keep learning things as time goes by, but there's too much to learn by any one man/woman. And the things which you do learn are by no means transcribable.

True as that may be, the fact that you didn't even attempt to prove me wrong says I'm correct.

relationships are for pussies. A real man grabs a girl on the street and rapes her senseless

Don't buy her gifts - this way you let her know that you want her attention desperately (meaning you're insecure and needy).

Be friends with her, and ALWAYS have interesting/funny things to say. Make a list if you must, I started out like that. They'll appreciate much more your confident personality rather than needy character (gifts and whatnot).

Oh btw, just how many of you guys are actually girls?

Before this thread I knew there were about 2 women on this forum but now it turns out there are like 5 or 6

:x

Yeah, it's quite bizzare. Everyday, it's like a whole new girl pops out of nowhere :dork:

Lol ACTUAL girls. I'm an actual girl, and I'm assuming the others are too.

Omg! An actual girl

Yeah, we kind've figured you were :p

I believe Shippi and Skaadi are also of the female gender. Acepilot is not an ACTUAL female (apparently). But we can pretend he is anyway.

You managed to sum up both of your points perfectly well with an image each. It's true, although I wouldn't necessarily agree that it's obvious as to whether she's on or off... even that's a bit clouded. +4* Skelly

You can always tell the actual women because they'll announce that they're women. It's very important they let guys know that OH MY GOD THERE ARE WOMEN HERE THERE ARE WOMEN POSTING ON THIS FORUM OH MY GOD.

Then again, the men who pose as women do that too. So at least we understand that aspect of them well enough.

So basically anyone who says that they're male is most probably male. But anyone else... well, who knows.

Males aren't going to state they're male because it's automatically assumed the majority of internet users are male. Therefore to state, "I am a male on the internet," is like saying, "Blue is the color blue."

So you're saying that if they do, then they're probably a female, because they're stating the obvious. In which case... they'd have to be female.

So anyone who states that they're male on the internet is female.

Anyone who states that they're female on the internet is either male or female.

Which leaves everyone else on the internet who hasn't stated anything specific about his gender to be male and/or a lesbian?

No no...

A female would never say, "I am a male." They will either state that they are female (99.4% of the time) or say nothing of their gender (the rare .6%). She would be incapable of lying.

Anyone who states they're male on the internet would likely only say so in response to a female or on a female-dominated forum. What a man would be doing on a female-dominated forum is beyond me.

You're correct about point 3.

Anyone who is mum about the subject of gender is probably going to be male. They COULD be female, but NOT lesbian. A lesbian is going to tell you FIRST THING that they're a lesbian. Same with bisexuals. Their sexual preference is always divulged immediately.
