Great demo I must say, especially the vehicles. Truly impressed.

Good thing is that they took back the Assault-mode that I really missed in UT2k3, and in UT2k4 your bot-mates are intelligent, they don't die as damn easy as they did in UT.

OK maybe you guys can help me. I have had a problem with UT2K3 where for some reason, sometimes my weapons wont show up and I cant shoot. This happens randomly sometimes after respawns. I thought it was just my copy of UT2K3 but it also happens in UT2K4.Anyone else have this problem? Help please.

Onslaught is by far my favorite...

The big boom at the end makes it all worth it... that's such a sweet sound...

One especially nice thing about the vehicles is that they actually have WEIGHT... when you're in the big tank/truck thing, it just FEELS heavy, and you don't have to worry about flipping it over when you're just trying to make a goddam turn! That, and the vehicles getting destoyed makes for a nice little show!

its nice.... in that its just Unreal 2003, slightly faster paced... better fluidity in control, some mediocre/uninspired vehicles thrown in, pretty much the same old weapons with touched up models, the player models in the demo look horribly low poly, the maps are pretty decent....

overall its a very light hearted, its pure action (of course, its unreal) and is fun for a break from the usual BF and DC games. with that in mind, once the novelty wears off your left with Ut2003.

If you were a Huge Ut2003 fan, and are looking for some better maps a new gametype.. the return of assault mode from Unreal tournament, vehicles and more player models... this game is for you

If Unreal really never was your thing, chances are you should download the demo play it for a couple hours, and see its just Ut2003 in new wrapping.

and for some reason I lag like crazy online (servers show under 50 ping, but I cant move)

its an impressive demo, its nice for passing a couple mins in between work or relaxing... but realize its not a sequel to Unreal Tournament, its merely an expansion pack to Ut2003 (sold as a new game)


(this is my opinion, I enjoyed Ut2003... and as I said I thought U2004 to be "fun" for what it is)

I hoped this would live up to the hype, and damn it has. The vehicles feel and handle so perfectly, the graphics have been bumped up a notch further, it all feels so much better and more polished. Truly fantastic!
