Who's looking forward to Mass Effect 2 ?

Miranda is a cock-tease. Everytime I go to her after a main mission she says she'll come visit me when it gets quiet, or sumit like that. I'm guessing this happens after you enter the Omega 4 relay. Now I have Tali, she is also interested but wants me to inform Miranda first. Decision time.

Also, just found Legion. Seems creepy.

The Mass Effect 1 "romances" were actually far better done than the second game's... at least in the first it was semi-believable and had some progression to it. The Mass Effect 2 ones consist only of like one conversation (in which Shepard gives 'em the creepo smile) and then the sex-with-clothes cutscene at the end.

Both games have the off-looking female, though (Ashley and Miranda). Jack's probably the best bet... I'm betting she'll have clothes and hair for ME3 since she'll have been out of prison for a while by then. And we know her face isn't going to be ****ed up (could still happen to Tali!).

I'm thinking about going with Tali as I'm trying to stay inline with my paragon ways. Miranda seems a doucher at times so might leave her to my renegade playthrough(Or jack).

Tali's loyalty mission was one of the best imo, storywise atleast.

Btw, can you have a romance with Samara?

My Shepard slept with Garrus, and that felt pretty natural. So to speak. They've known each other a long time, it built progressively and they've fought together more than anyone else in the team (including ME1), btw. Only option I felt was really viable.

Leave Jacob out, he's ****ing useless on insanity. Miranda is handy for overload+warp but dies too easily, so keep an eye on where she's sitting. Consider upgrading your team mates with more health rather than weapon damage, you'll chew through medigel like nobody's business. Besides that big guns are the order of the day (pick Zaaed or Grunt and someone to fill the gaps in your abilities).

With warp ammo you can more or less take down any kind of enemy, just don't expect to wear through their protection as easily as before unless you're using the widow sniper or something.

Edit: Also, don't be afraid to use your heavy weapons. The M-100 is handy as hell starting out, partially because it does a decent amount of damage, but also because it knocks enemies on their asses regardless of protection (I think... armor at least). This is nearly essential if a krogan gets in close. Those mother****ers will TEAR YOU APART.

Seeing as I cant play ME2 till I go home on the first day of May, I might download ME from Steam...though that might take a week or so haha, 30kb/s...its so painful!

I'd like to go through the ME story again though before ME2, just to refresh my memory. Havent played are looked at the ME universe in atleast 3 years.

Guess I could just watch one of those ME-story-in-5-minutes videos.

i finally kept my unloyal jack alive by never picking her for any tasks, always keeping her and miranda apart (which means always keeping miranda with me and not leading a team that had jack in). everybody else was loyal.

i used tali as tech specialist, samara as biotic, garrus as second squad leader both times, and i sent zaeed back as escort. as i said, i always kept miranda with me and left jack with the others. every other variation i tried always left me with a dead jack or dead team member, whether i kept her with me, used her as a specialist, sent her as escort etc etc.

finally, everybody lived! happy happy joy joy :E
