Who's looking forward to Mass Effect 2 ?

I made a move on Miranda and then abruptly broke it off for Tali. Now she never has anything to talk about.

I think she's angry at me. :O

every Miranda i know in real life is a bitch so thats a no brainer

this is very true, i think people with mean sounding names eventually grow into them and become evil.

Worth it though. Tali is hella cute when she tries to express her feelings towards you. :)

Playing a renegade playthrough atm. Dunno who to romance. Jack or Miranda prolly, unless you can get with
Morinth
?

Apparently you can, but only after you finish the game, and when you do, she kills you.

Pretty loose definition of 'sex' there.

Heh loose.

(Oh jesus **** I broke it again)

Does finding certain characters before others ruin anything?

I found Garrus before I found the Prof.

Also, Garrus= Space Rorschach :}

Nope.

Also, do want Tali figure.

Very awesome so far. But there are some seriously weird drawbacks.

Well, if you take certain combinations of squadmates on certain missions you can get unique dialogue etc. Taking Legion on Tali's loyalty mission is a good example.

Taking Grunt with you to Garrus' recruitment mission is another one (only a small scene).

Btw, if you play a NewGame+ with a character who already completed the game (and decide to go all paragon whereas your previous playthrough was renegade) will ME3 recognise your most recent playthrough for your decisions/romances/morality etc

It'll result in two different characters for you to select in ME3. Well, I don't know that for certain, but I'm pretty sure ME1 > ME2 acted that way anyway.

Really? Coz when I imported a ME1 Shepard to ME2 it just recognised my last playthrough and the choices I made during that final playthrough, even though I completed ME1 mutiple times with the same Shepard.

Gona haveto look into that.

I had two final saves, one for Council Killed and once for Council Lives.

It gave me three saves, one for each of my 'Game Complete' saves for that certain character. I chose the one with the highest level.

One thing that bugs the living shit out of me is the space travel in this. Seems really inconvenient and tedious.

I still haven't gotten around to playing this, my CE is still in plastic wrappers :(

So many games, so little time.

stop what your doing Gar, you'll be glad you picked a better game

Problem is I have to finish my final ME1 playthrough before I do, and it's my fifth, I did two playthroughs this year already to get as many achievements as possible.

Need to wait a bit before I can be stomached to go through the final playthrough in ME1 to use that save for ME2.

ITT: ZT gets into the game after everyones done already, and spams the thread trying to get people to listen to his opinions about it.

ITT: Krynn evidently reads all of said ZT's posts anyways because he is interested in what ZT has to say. Awww.

Did anyone else find the final ultimate enemy kind of lame? When I first saw it I was like "wtf?"
What was he even supposed to be when he was finished, this giant human Reaper who flew around in space like Iron Man? Or would he walk around terrorizing cities, shooting lasers out of his eyes? Isn't the ultimate goal of the Reapers to make their way back into the galaxy since the can't come in through the Citadel relay anymore? What was the "Human Reaper" supposed to do to help them?

It would have done what sovereign was about to, access the Citadel directly. Its appearance was just circumstance, thats the Reapers motivation, they harvest organic life to make more of themselves. It wasnt a hybrid or specialized weapon, it was a full on Reaper.

this game would probably make a kickass tv show if done right. looking back theres plenty of locations, characters and plot to work with. i'm thinking something along the lines of Babylon 5 with a touch of Star Trek and some Stargate.

Started playing ME1 to make a new character. God, it's almost painful how bad some aspects of it have gotten. Plus, after playing ME2, ME1's crap aspects are more amplified.
