Ok Billtcm. I am on a mod right now, so I want to finish up my job there for sure, but I can try the two at the same time if this get rolling while I am still with the other mod. Also sorry for the double post, was an accident. :x
Also you should consider the classic arcade style mode, but also one that allows the player a more free-type mode of gameplay. Perhaps even some kind of multiplayer DM/TDM/Team Objective modes.
There are some nice marble textures packed into djbourgeese's (I know I spelt that wrong) cs_xcom map. I used bspzip to pull them out. If you are hopeless with console applications, I can just email you the textures, because I am just a nice guy :D
Check this http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Bot_Navigation_for_Counter-Strike:Source#Adding_Place_Names
I can't seem to find the place list anymore. I've seen it before. I will look again when I get back. I am in a hurry now.
If you want to use a blend of two textures that don't have a blend thing made already, you can make your own. It is very easy. No image modifications required. Here is a tutorial: http://www.snarkpit.net/editing.php?page=tutorials&game=HL2&id=181
Go to the console and enter:
bind "SHIFT" "+speed"
that will make the Shift key turbo/sprint
If you want the 'n' key to be turbo/sprint enter:
bind "n" "+speed"
I know from experience, you would need to incorperate a driver, because Win XP, 2000, and ME have security features that only allow the kernel to access ports directly.
