already had an ati card with the voucher but i didn't put my key in at steam. wasn't going to do that untill half-life 2 is released but becouse of the beta i made a new account for the voucher key

if you send some stuff in like i did (copy of cd-key, copy of receipt, bar code, etc..) you can receive the retail copy of the game but it will take 4 to 6 weeks before it arrives but i will make a new account with the key tommorow so i can play cs:s

my question is if i can insert my cd-key in steam with a new account and play half life 2 when its released and then still receive the retail version 6 weeks later?

when i make a new account with my ati voucher for the beta, half life 2 and the premier pack. will i still be able to receive half life 2 in retail? i already sent al the stuff requirred(or something like it) to receive the retail version

it says 4 to 6 weeks. maybe sooner as 4 but not later as 6 weeks. if it don't receive it after six weeks iam going to call ati and send some mails and for those 6 to 4 weeks: maybe ill buy doom 3 so i can game those 4 to 6 weeks or iam just going to have a lot of cod wars

so if i make an account i have 2 accounts: half-life 1 + mods and stuff half-life 2 + mods and stuff one thing is for shure if i have half-life 2 it will be a very long time untill i touch half-life 1 again

i have used my CD-key on the ati site (becouse i already have al half life games except cz) so i dont need the premier pack, and i mailed al my stuff to them too. but one question: can i use this key to make an new account and get all those halflife games or cant i becouse i already...

on my other computer i had a pentium 3 1 Ghz and 128mb ram and a geforce 4 ti 4200 you should bve able to play half life 2 on it but the binks i ran on that computer were very choppy. i was glad when someone made som fan movies for wmp using the bink media in it

yeah i also hate it when you play level 1 and 2 or level 2 and 5 it just gives away a lot of story with the recent short games (HL2 will hopefully be an expection). a completely different level just lets you taste the gamplay and makes you decide if you want to buy it without playing a part of...

i got the voucher with my 9600XT i ill receive it with the post just hope its the tradional version (why should you otherwise use the internet to get your copy trough steam)
