For the longest time 9800 Pro cards sat around $500, and yes it looks like they have just dropped about $100. I'm not sure why the price was lower in the States, especially sinse ATi is a Canadian company. Sucks that the AIW cards didn't really drop that much. That's the card I was gonna get...

Ya, it's the card I bought a few years ago when I bought my first computer. I'm putting off buying an AIW 9800 Pro, because the only reason for me to get it right now is HL2, and that's nowhere in sight.
