Ya I probably would if it was easy enough to obtain. I wouldn't go out of my way for it though. At this point I won't because nothing in the leak was meant to be seen right now, and it would infact spoil the game for me. But after the game's release none of that would really apply.
The main reason to buy manufacturer's ink is if you also use brand name paper. Brand name ink with brand name paper gives the best archival life. For example, HP ink with HP paper gives an archival life of 60 some years.
Be carful with self-refills though. If your cartridge leaks and damages...
For the longest time 9800 Pro cards sat around $500, and yes it looks like they have just dropped about $100. I'm not sure why the price was lower in the States, especially sinse ATi is a Canadian company.
Sucks that the AIW cards didn't really drop that much. That's the card I was gonna get...
- Many people are choked at the fact that nVidia cheated on benchmarks to gain performace leads that weren't real.
- ATi's cards perform much better under DirectX 9 conditions than nVidia cards (ex. HL2).
As for older models, I'm not sure. Just a coincidence I guess.
Ya, it's the card I bought a few years ago when I bought my first computer. I'm putting off buying an AIW 9800 Pro, because the only reason for me to get it right now is HL2, and that's nowhere in sight. The little Radeon does fine for Counter-strike though, which seems to be all I'm playing lately.
I normally don't post on these but I recently got a new system, so what the hey.

You're very mistaken. Dual channel memory is how you attain memory bandwidth from the RAM equal to that of the 800MHz FSB on the Pentium 4. I don't know exact figures, but it's much more than 1-3%.
I completely agree.
Besides, this sort of thing has happened before (can anyone say Blizzard), and I don't think it's ever effected sales. People keep attacking Valve and saying they've lost it and no one cares about the game anymore, but we all know that's not true at all. When the game is...
I had one buddy who passed out in a snow bank, and another friend you passed out once in an outhouse, and another time on a tractor.
Good times good times.
Usually if the voltage switch is changed in any way the computer will not turn on whatsoever.
If any one component is broken, I'd put my money on the motherboard.
No BIOS = Motherboard problem
Fan speed problem = Controlled by the motherboard
Having most of your other components work...
