I think it's a good idea. More than 50% of the technology we have today is largely due in part to all the research and tech development that was necessary to get to the moon in the first place. Without that first technological push decades ago, we might not have all the tech we have now...
I subscribed to IGN's service for a year ( I think during the first yearthey offered it.) I don't subscribe anymore and never will again. There will always be ways to get demos and reviews, etc., for free on the internet so why would I want to pay for them.
ding ding ding
I think we have a winner. I bought Halo for PC and played al the way through, but I never really had one of those moments that inspired me or made me think "this game rocks." I wasn't extremely impressed - it's a well made game, but I don't think it's far enough different from...
Well, here's my short list of games I consider to be some of the best an this list certainly isn't all complete, just what I can think of right now...
in no particular order
Half-Life
Thief
System Shock 2
Goldeneye
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
Homeworld
BF1942
Doom series...
Beer's an acquired taste, but once you like it, you can begin to appreciate all the different styles of beer. My favorite beer is Weihenstephaner. If you ever see it, definitely give it a try. The brewery that makes it has been around since 1054
hehe, I haven't watch this movie in probably a year, but I've seen it probably 5+ times. Good Stuff! And the person that made that website has too much time on their hands. lol
I don't understand why so many people have trouble reconciling evolution, the age of the world, dinosaurs, etc. with the Bible. It's not that hard to truly believe in both as long as you understand that the Genesis in the Bible isn't supposed to be taking completely literally.
honestly, about 17,000 US dollars. Yea, I just graduated school and thats how much I owe back in loans. And on top of that I can't find a good job (I majored in chemical engineering) so I'm working for an outdoors gear company making six bucks an hour.
BF1942 is really all I;ve been playing consistently lately. I just reinstalled Thief - maybe I'll actually beat it this time, but I doubt it. I was thinking about buying Alpha Centauri - my favorite strategy game.
Morrowind gave me about 150-200 hours of play. It was a lot of fun, but I probably won't play it again. But that's ok because I already got more out of this one than most games.
Is that KOTOR an RPG?
me either, and the more I hear about it the less I care to see it. I think i'm just going to have to act like the first of the series is the only one - it's so good. But these sequels are very stinky.
BTW, LotR is probably the BLANDEST set of movies ever. LotR has no feelings to its...
I'll wait for as long as it takes because either way I don't really care if it ever comes out. I'm just not anticipating it at all anymore. And if it never were to come out, then "meh"... Life would certainly go on...
I love BF, but I don't really care for DC. Mainly because helicopters seem way too powerful once you can fly them well. If you know how to fly them, heli's can pretty much destroy anything quickly. Kinda makes the game unbalanced. BF just seems to have a much better balance than DC.
