I think this mod could certainly be interesting... but it strays far enough from the original Half-Life that I would still be interested in a separate, more literal translation of Half-Life to the new engine. It seems like it would be less work anyway?
However, I think any fanmade work will...
I don't know if that's true, but anyway I voted for Kerry, not for Democrats in congress. And unless the League of Conservation
Voters are liars, he has a very good environmental record, unlike Bush.
I don't know if I fully believe him, I do suspect that Kerry was unsure of what position to...
"Thy head stands so tickle on thy shoulders, that a milkmaid, if she be in love, may sigh it off."
This one almost sounds like a "Yo' mama" joke in its style.
American, already voted Kerry by absentee.
Bush's administration has got an awful environmental record, and Kerry was endorsed by the League of Conservation Voters, an environmental watchdog group.
Also, just getting a new face in the White House is the first step towards repairing our...
Office Complex/ We've Got Hostiles
Loved how full of stuff Office Complex was. So many cool scripted events, and it seemed like a real place with the meat cooler, the various offices, the elevator shafts, etc.
We've Got Hostiles was great because it was the first encounter with the...
The only good news to come out of that interview was that Valve won't endorse a crappy Half-Life movie. Everything else was a non-answer or even a bad thing, like saying DM and CTF are not being worked on, and implying CS:Source is a finished product (I haven't played it, but based on all the...
Man, what's with the harsh reaction? The guy wasn't even complaining, he was just pointing out some stuff to anyone who was interested. I was impressed to see on the site he linked to, in a video of the USP, it sounds just like the one in the Bink videos. Good job Valve, I say.
Why do you type like this..
Do you think it makes you mysterious..
Yawn..
And whoever said PCs are preferred over consoles in the US, I'm not so sure about that. Most people at my college seem to use consoles if they like games.
Japanese RPGs have got the edge in immersion, I would say. But, they also tend to be very linear and their combat systems aren't usually very fun compared to American RPGs.
American RPGs I have played like Baldur's Gate 2, IceWind Dale II, Morrowind, Daggerfall, etc are usually more fun to...
A 61-years-young gamer? That's cool! I've kind of wondered if I'll still be into games when I get older. (I'm 20 now)
Anyway, I'm sure the game will come with a readme or 2. You can usually check controls by looking at the options menu. If it doesn't work.. well, you might have to go through...
You can edit the difficulty in svencoop by messing with the skill.cfg, but that only changes the default monster values. Many maps use map-defined monsters that will still have a jillion health.
It is annoying. :flame: Just relax, though, and remember that there's nothing like money to motivate people, especially a company, to do something. Valve will do all they can to fight pirates.
Yeah, I think that means it will probably release after HL2. Plus, that's a translation, so there's always the possibilities for muck-ups, especially with vague language like this.
Huh, it was pretty interesting I thought. Seemed to have the same kind of pacing my dreams have sometimes.
And if you didn't like it, no one forced you to read it.
