I Am unsure whether to get it or not. We haven't seen any footage of the PC version yet.
I Am worried that we may get a sloppy port. All of the functions of the game seem be to suffering from consolitis. I'll wait to see how the community responds to it.

The guy playing is a moron, it was clear from the other ten minute videos. The atmosphere looks amazing and I like how they have solved the issue of getting stuck when stepping between different walls and vents. Still can't wait for it.

Rebellions last decent game, Rogue Trooper was developed by the core team working on this and Sniper Elite. The teams responsible for the god awful Shellshock 2 and Rogue Warrior have been let go.

i really don't like the a.i of the marines. it seems they just patrol up, down and around until the player jumps on them. i was expecting them to be really uneasy in their movement, cautious and nervous, and to at least ****ing check the ceiling from time to time.

No. Decent=Good. Rogue Trooper bar the PS2-esque visuals was actually a good third person shooter.

Update 01/02/10: It was an open secret, but now the date for the upcoming AvP demo has finally been unveiled. Xbox Live Spotlight channel featured an advertisement claiming the date for the AvP demo. It seems like the ad is no longer available online but we can confirm that it’s true. The demo will be released this week, Thursday Feb 4th as featured on the channel. We can also reveal that the demo will feature the multiplayer part of the game and will be available on PSN and Steam on the same date.

Also, this appears to be the start of the Alien campaign.

It's a free demo mate, you should be happy your getting something at all, especially seeing as how many of you believe it's going to be arse. You can now test it to see if it's worth the money.

My point was demo's seem to be rare before release these days. Especially one which will let you sample all 3 of the species and on PC. Let alone a multi demo that you don't have to pre-order for first. Then people complain that they are not getting the game mode they want. C'mon.
