You guys wanna go for a 3v3 now?
Well I would, except Ennui's ignored my last three requests for a game and is apparently continuing to do so.

I didn't notice! I'd love a 3v3, but NOT Hill 331.
I'm getting in RO now.
I was planning to make a map that was very infantry based, so barely enough fuel to build the required buildings (or perhaps no fuel at all and give players 200 fuel to work with if that's possible).
Or a map with very little or no fuel, except a fuel depot in the center with a couple of high fuel points. That would be the key point of the map to hold where you can expect a lot of fighting.
Also, Shaker, I wouldn't bet on it being noobfriendly at all. For DOW, to make terrain, you had to put out a grayscale elevation map, not the easiest thing in the world.
Yes, it is the greatest game to date. Hell, it surpasses Half-Life 2 in all aspects. Well, perhaps not the originality and storytelling factor, but god damn this game is great. If anyone would like to get a few games in as Axis, add me: PanzerSmurf, and I'll be sure to look you up if your online.
There's a wiki up about the upcoming COH Worldbuilder and how to use it.

Feck, I'm on that Hill mission part two also. Airbourne you say? Hmm. I'll give it another go, it's hard as hell.Holy ... I just got off playing the campaign mission where you have to hold Hill 137 against a massive invading German Army ... at the end of the first part, I had 2 riflemen squads holding the top of the mountain against two squads of Stormtroopers, two Panzer IV's and three squads of Grenadiers with 30 seconds left on the clock. Then they retreated past my army, leaving my measly 2 rifleman squads holding that hill ! :O
The next mission was a pain in the rear though, as - all - of the units left from the previous mission carry over, meaning that I had two Engineer squads near my (heavily damaged) HQ, one armoured car, and two rifleman units left on top of that hill, and the 105mm Howitzer on top of the hill. The only reason I won was due to the fact that they finally let you chose your own doctine. (Go Airbourne !)
I actually thought it was the last mission - it was so hard to hold that single innocent-looking hill !
Basically, I agree with Ennui totally - it's the best RTS in a long, long time !
EDIT
The 1.3 patch is online. It's almost 114 mb large but I had the fastest download evah with Relic online.
repiV and I kicked some more Kraut ass on Pointe du Hoc yesterday xlucidx, it's very fast paced.
Defending a building from all sides? Well I'm by no means a pro at this game but what I've found so far is that AT guns are amazing, and the German AT guns have a pretty wide range iirc, so you could probably cover the whole perimiter with 3 of them. Why not just 2 MG squads in the building? Perhaps a sniper too. Why not field defenses like wire and hedgehogs?
Something like this...
Would help even more if you had zig-zag paths of wire and hedgehogs in the fire zones, but it's already a lot of stuff to begin with.
