Hehe, thanks, maybe this should be a good moment to say that English is not my first language, neither is it my second but my third so i do make the occasional spelling mistake from time to time. Also its 12:40 am here.

okay.. now to try and really add something to the discussion..

prices... steadily software prices have gone up over the years.. and never have i once seen prices drop.. so with Longhorn, and all the anti piracy stuff being implemented into it theres no indication that software will become cheaper.. *shrug*

maybe it is all about the fat cats that put the extra money in their pockets... anyone can show otherwise.. because prices only seem to go up.. and since money is the major factor in piracy.. perhaps u can understand why its done?..

lets wait and see. piracy has only inclined over the past years so its not a surprise prices are still higher.

its NOT all about the fat cats. ive already explained why several times. more money = faster expansion = more job slots. fat cats would be even richer if they expand as opposed to hoarding all the money. it just makes sense. when you play warcraft 3, do you use one peasant to get your gold. no you hire more, and you as the master benefits overall.

its not likely that prices for apps are going to go up if companies are receiving more revenue as a result of longhorn. if anything they will go down.

why would companies lower prices if they're getting more money? microsoft is supposed to be gaining money because they're trying to create jobs and expand, remember? why lower the prices? they're doing everyone a favor by giving them jobs!
