Dead Space is looking well....pretty damn sweet

I just finished the game and Jesus Christ it was a ride. Probably clocked 15 to 20 hours playing. If you are hesitating to pick this game up, get off you ass and do it. God it was so intense.
 
Watched the GT review last night

I want this game REALLY bad, GameFly is sending it to me but I'm considering heading out and grabbing this retail.

When the hell does this come out for the PC? I just bought myself a 360 controller in anticipation. :D
 
I hope the itafags doesnt translate this game into utter shit without the option of choosing english. Happend too many times now, i think this game deserves my money, but if they force me into italian language only, il be forced to use other means.

I am WIN!

1st run Hard and Plasma Cutter ONLY! Started a new game and right at the start got the 1000 limp cutter achievement so i would say 50% of the achievements first run!

oh and

I got the level 6 suit right at the start had enough cash and some. The ****ing thing looks CRAZY! 17 nodes left over and i manage to upgrade everything before the end of the game. Was kicking everyone's ass! Who thought the last fights cut scene was insane! With the view and Isaac basically doing exactly what i felt every time!

The game is epic.

I am italian but I like playing games in the original language. When it comes to movies, italians are the best dubbers on the scene, hands down. Alas, videogames are treated as a lesser entertainment medium and are negleted. The exception is Bioshock: wonderful italian localization.
Just my 2 cents to support itafags :)
 
I still think that the setting is cliche Alien/Thing/Event Horizon/Supernova, nothing new under the sun. But the game seems to be funny, so it's okay.

Had the biggest scare of my life playing this tonight. Screamed SHIIIIIIIIT and mom came in all like "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU OK?" and shit. ****ing Slashers are vicious. God damn.
 
Damn Gamefly. Took them two days after release to receive and ship out Dead Space (it seems like it always takes them a couple days to get a game after release, not sure why) and my copy didn't come in the mail today :frown:

No Dead Space for me this weekend ;(
 
Considering it's not released here until the 24th November I wouldn't be complaining if I were you >.<

Does gamestop ship within Europe too? Specifically Italy? It says on the wikipage that they have stores in italy, but i dont know any near my house. It says it offers 24hr shipping, does that include all countries? Will it be english?

The PAL version of Dead Space isn't shipping until the 23rd of OCTOBER.

Does anyone know if the DLC suits are going to be available in the UK. I see nothing on the playstation store :(
 
Not to mention I already said it was the 23rd for release in Aus which just happens to be PAL territory.

P.S. Level 6 Military suit is beyond awesome.
 
Indeed. About the ending:

When Isaac looks over and briefly sees Nicole and she attacks him on the ship he escapes in, was he hallucinating again, or was it a Necromorph?

I think he was just hallucinating again. I mean, she really didn't look that much like the other necromorphs. She looked more like just herself with that shit all over her, not deformed or anything like that. I also wouldn't think that she was suddenly, out of nowhere, just on that ship at the perfect time.
 
True, but

As long as the ship was anchored down on the landing pad while you were taking care of business, a Necromorph could have infiltrated the ship, but true she didn't appear too ****ed up. Something about her face really didn't seem right though. Hard to get a good glimpse as quickly as it jumped to credits. Anyway, here's hoping Isaac is alive and well.

Also, Barney Calhoun was the gnome. I believe it.
