GTA IV Trailer coming March 29!!!

I hope its as good as GTA: SanAndreas, but not as dissapointing as Liberty City Stories.
 
How on earth could LCS be disappointing? I really enjoyed it given it was a PSP game. If were talking about disappointing we should look at Vice city stories. Why? Because that was ****ing shit.
 
I was really exited for San Andres. alas, I never finished it, way to freaking big, some mision had you runing from a state to another, and some minigames pissed me to much, like the one where you couldn't scratch a car.

And I hope its not some gangsta shit anymore. Could we at least have some slick fashion dude this time?

Agreed, someone like Mr. Vercetti. Couldn't stand Carl Johnson tbh.

Who was the main character in Vice City Stories? I gave that one a pass. I'm not paying for a game I've already bought.
 
Why do I have a hard time believing that that trailer is the real deal..?
Edit: Maybe because it's a coke advertisement from 2006 LOL.:)

Yeah, unfortunately Jack Thompson has had his way with TakeTwo. Now the aim of GrandThirstAuto is to quench everybodys thirst, with copious amounts of coke.

The first few seconds had me, then as soon as he entered the store I was thrown way off. After that I was just ''what the hell is going on?'', regardless of if it was GTA or not.
 
I knew what that was the second after I hit play...

Too many f*cking commercials on TV...
 
When's the trailer supposed to hit the Internet anyway? Smack on 29th?
 
11PM GMT. Can't wait. Glad it's not going to be some minute long teaser either.

They've done a good job of keeping anything from getting leaked.

Yeah, I remember seeing it on tv back when I lived at my parents house. Me and my brother were like "wtf?"
 
First time I saw that ad, I was waiting for him to jar that bottle through the clerk's skull.
 
That ad is AWESOME.

I wouldn't mind a game where things would break out into random musical numbers.

This is going to be disappointing :(

(Haha! Now that I've lowered my expectations I'll be more satisfied with the trailer :D)

I bet any amount of money that its going to be a CG video ,

So when did they say this game was coming out, so i can add 1 year to that release date.
 
Alan00000, there has never been a CG trailer for any of the previous modern GTA games(GTA3 and onwards) afaik.:)

There has never been a pre-rendered GTA trailer. That I have seen.

It's funny everyones so worked up over a trailer. You know, it might not show anything of the game, or give any more info on the scenario. It may just be another of those silly 'coming soon' things, or just a film sequence like an advert.
 
lePobz, if you'd read through the thread you'd noticed that it has been pretty much clarified that this will NOT be a TEASER trailer but a full trailer laying out the scope off the game etc.:)

With in-game visuals? I don't do any other kind of trailer.
 
I hope the main character is another thug gangsta so I can beat down some hoes with some realism.

Apparantly a leaked screenshot... or something. Don't blame me if it's not! I just this moment found it on a forum.
 
The trailer will be released at 6:00 PM EST. Thats 23:00PM GMT to us UK'ers.

Ah, it was? Like I said, I only knew about it today from a forum which isn't really a gaming forum, and I've only been keeping an eye out for a new GTA since the upcoming trailer was announced. Ho hum. :(
