If you believe there should be harmony and peace in the world, what I said dictates proper morality.
And happiness, I left that out.

you telling someone that they have flawed logic tells me that your logic is flawed. How many people in history did great things with their "flawed logic"? well, lets name a few: carpinicus, Jesus, Luther, Martin Luther King Junior, and pretty much anyone who stood up to the majority. Next time you tell someone that their logic is flawed, remember that one day you may be bringing that person dinner in a shrine built to them.Nat Turner said:No, that was true and in jest. It was relevant to conversation and will hopefully enlighten that person to change for the better, if only they can realize their logical flaw.
I always worry when I hear something like that. Unless you honestly know best, I think it's better to contribute your opinion, but not dictate fact.Nat Turner said:If you believe there should be harmony and peace in the world, what I said dictates proper morality.

Eliminate the law for a minute, it's irrelevant. Common sense, how did you develop it?Common sense. That law also implies it, in most cases.

I think it's wrong, but I'm probably going to end end up doing it anyway. :E>>FrEnZy<< said:Who here thinks it's okay to have sex before marriage? Please explain your reasons.
I love it when people emphasize my point.Nat Turner said:Their logic was not flawed, it was just as perceived as so by the majority. Popularity does not dictate Truth.
TheSomeone said:Christ, good luck finding a woman who'll marry you if you don't even commit the greatest show of love and affection you can give her.

umm... either culture, teh 1337 B!b13 and/or Jesus (who is f*ckin metal btw), your conscience, or a combination of the three.MiccyNarc said:Who/what dictates that morality?
Skaadi said:Crack whores dont need that much affection, find one of those and your set.
Nat Turner said:This has to do with premarital sex, how?

Absinthe said:I was wondering the same.
TheSomeone said:Alright, clarification, by the greatest show of love and affection I meant sex.
Nat Turner said:You can only love the person you marry?
Raeven0 said:What the hell, I managed to get into the minority again! Is there some kind of conspiracy here where I always have to be at odds with most of you?
Absinthe said:So... premarital sex is bad?
TheSomeone said:I'm saying you can't have a succesful marriage without it.
Skaadi said:Probably.......what were you opinions again? I'm to lazy to read back.
Absinthe said:I'm sorry, but your entire series of posts just got more confusing and I think a simple "Yes" or "No" would have added clarification. :\

I seriously don't understand that, it's just way too Christian for me to grasp.
poseyjmac said:its actually pretty logical. see, the woman someone marries is going to be very special to that man. moreso than any past girlfriend. now what can you give that special women that is of worth if you have given the greatest thing of all in a relationship already? this is why abstaining from sex till marriage is practiced(besides people who just obey it because its in the bible). it shows that you know whoever it is, shes going to mean more to you than anyone has before, so she deserves something that you give no other woman.

TheSomeone said:Why can't you have sex with your fiance then?
Nat Turner said:You can't just ruin his core philosophy like that! It's not fair!
TheSomeone said:You know what? I like you. I hope you stick around  .
Nat Turner said:Your logic is flawed. Your past history doesn't have to dictate what you think of a person in the present if that history does not involve them. Of course, it can if you let it, but it doesn't have to.
Virginity is all in the mind.
